Is water cooling overkill for this system?

My friend plans to watercool his p4 2.4 Ghz, 512mb, Gf4 MX440.

Well watercooling would probably allow him to overclock that processor a great deal. Although the money would certainly be better spent on upgrades.

Is he watercooling the graphics card as well?

He should be able get it to 3.0ghz at least. It might be a good investment if he upgrades his video card along with the h20.

i told him he's better off upgrading everything. that AGP 4x board wont mean anything with his DIMMS full at 512mb.
