Is warcraft3 out yet?

I herd that warcraft 3 is being released for christmas I live in australia and its not here yet.
🙁 Looks to be a grate game with what Ive read. Starcraft is getting allitle borring now.
 
The Beta sign up is for January 7th I read somewhere. They will be picking 5000 people at random, depending on your system specs.

Was cancelled well over a year ago. They are making a MMORPG though, World of Warcraft

MrGrim, I suppose you love all those companies that keep pushing crap out the door instead of actually making sure the games are worth the plastic they're shipped on?

the game will be good no doubt, but does it really take this long of development to finalize it?

it's been 124 precessional cycles since they've started...bastards.
 
They took their sweet time with StarCraft too, and that was one of the most amazing RTS's I've ever played.

As far as Im concerned, they can take all the time they want, just as long as they get it right, unlike what 99.9% of the industry does.

Oh and the beta signups begins on Jan.7, lets say the beta itself begind in late january, and lasts 3 months, then another month for finalizing whatever needs to be finalized, and we're looking at an early summer release.

IMHO Blizzard is one of those companies. The only decent game that they have produced is Starcraft and the team that actually developed Starcraft no longer works for them. They have treated the Starcraft players like dirt, they took away their servers and gave them to D2 players, they released patches that caused more problems than the ones they fixed (who will ever forget the 0 health sunken that can't be destroyed? when will the "observer on top of a turret doesn't get destroyed" bug be fixed?) and so on. Diablo2 is a joke, I think the game is one of the worse ever made, then again pointless clicking simply doesn't amuse me. They have never kept a promise, their ETAs are usually 6-12 months off and they lie all the time. I could be more specific but I don't want to, I know they suck and you will soon find out for yourselves. War3 is going to suck ass.
 
IMO the support for StarCraft has been admirable, patches years after it's release, and maybe I(along with my friends) am just lucky, but I have yet to have a single problem with StarCraft.

The Diablo games were sorta fun to me, not StarCraft fun, nor WarCraft fun, but still, much better than the vast majority of games out there.
And besides, the fact that they are as popular as they are should say something.

The first game I played that bore the Blizzard nametag was WarCraft 1, and I loved it, and I've loved every game they've put out so far, and I've loved the support that came with them, if WC3 turns out to suck, I'll be extremely surprised.
