Someone who uses a racial slur in a hateful way is in dire need of a beatdown. It's not about the word, it's about the feelings behind it.

gee, if I am a white guy who defines the term ni**er as a black man who wears his pants down around his knees, talks like a rapping thug, and follows a hip-hop lifestyle as portrayed so predominantly on BET....and I use that term on you do you have the right to give me a "beatdown?"

after all, when you do, all you will do is re-enforce what I already believe, and that belief stems from what is portrayed so gloriously on channels such as BET and MTV. If that is my only exposure to black culture, and I see you walking down the sidewalk dressed, talking and acting in such a way, it's logical to conclude that if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck.......

If you don't want to be a duck.....don't act and look like one.

am I justifying racial slurs?

no, but I am saying they stem from somewhere, and since this culture is so prevalent it only perpetuates the idea to those that already believe.

and no, just because I call you a ni**ger does not mean you have the right to strike me, if you do you are a moron......

#1- you'll probably get arrested and thrown in jail

#2 how do you know I am not an HIV infected bigot who has nothing to loose, as soon as you hit me and draw blood you put yourself at risk.....is it worth it just because I offended you with some words?

guess who will have the last laugh.

Nice selective quoting there. You completely missed the point of what I said. Come back when you develop some critical thinking skills.

And man, you have issues if black culture evokes that kind of reaction from you.

But on the other hand, it's best to be the better man and walk away.

How can you have it both ways?

Some guy referred to me as a stupid mc, I puched him in the throat ... in retrospect I should have head butted him, or both. If someone uses a racial epithet they are looking for trouble. so either reciever turns the other cheek or freaks either way it doesn't mater.

Well it doesn't matter for the punchee, but if the puncher gets arrested and possibly convicted of assault, he now has to check that little box on every loan, school and job application for the rest of his life. Smart move. Basically if someone calls you a stupid X and you physically assault them, you've just proven them right.

I hesitate to mention mc is spelled mick. :)

What I mean is, I don't think a racial slur is justification for beating someone up, but it wouldn't bother me too much to see it happen. I wouldn't view the slur user as an innocent victim of violence, I'd see him as an asshole who got his comeuppance. It's not something I'd do myself. I've never struck another person out of anger.
