It certainly looks like a lot of partisan Democrats are freaking out around the country and on this board.

Yep, they've done nothing but talk about Republicans for the last two years without actually doing anything worthwhile, and now they wonder why people aren't groveling at their feet.

Republicans are crooks, and Democrats are tits on a boar. What a sad state of affairs.

you have to have control of both house and senate to get anything done. That is what I was trying to say.

But bills, including funding bills, originate in the House. Taking back the House is the key to blocking Obama's entire agenda and introducing bills that attempt to reverse the long term damage this dipshit has already caused. Whether or not they pass is irrelevant. I think many will be happy with simply stopping the loony left train in its tracks.

I am 100 percent sure the Supreme Court will decide at least some of the new UHC law is unconstitutional. Even if it were clearly Ok, we have seen the Republicans on the court act outrageously in ruling for the Republican agenda.

Once even part of the law is unconstitutional there is now way Congress will fix it after the Republicans take the House.

And if the Supreme Court doesn't find it unconstitutional I am 100 percent sure the Republicans will shut down government like they did under Clinton, but this time they will keep it shut no matter what until they get there way. No funding means no UHC.

bye bye, UHC. We barely knew you.

Not really. I mean, especially reading on these boards, even a minority (the R's) still get their way ;) Dems couldnt get what they wanted when they were minority (R's are stopping our efforts!) and they cant do it with a majority (R's are stopping our efforts!). I think to clarify your comment, I would just add you need to have a super majority.

Or be a Republican.
