I see the commercial all the time... going through my Halloween candy and not 1 piece of twix.. tons of snickers, mars, skittles, m&m, tootsie, more than usual kit kat, even the crunch bar got in there but not one twix...

and what happened to pb twix.. that was awesome, I never see it in store anymore

Not a big fan of twix or really any candy. Its ok, not the best i've ever had. If I'm going to buy a chocolate candy bar it will either be snickers or a babe ruth.

They are popular. People buy the mix bags, then pull out the ones they want to keep. 🙂

And why do you have Halloween candy? How old are you?

For some reason they seem particularly variable in quality, to age, shorter shelf life or something vs. other candy bars.

Otherwise I don't have a problem with them. What a weird statement lol i can take or leave them.

I liked the pb twix when it had the vanilla wafers. Not crazy about the chocolate wafer version.

Peanut Butter Twix was the best. I think the issue is that, IMO, you don't get much bang for your buck with Twix. I think you get a lot more buying a snickers of equivalent value.

When I bought candy for Halloween this year there were big bags of chocolate bars that included Baby Ruth, Butterfingers, and Crackles. There were also big bags that included Reese's cups, Reeses's Pieces, Snickers, and Kit-Kats. Both of those bags were around 3 lbs, and cost $10. There also 5 lb. bags of Tootsie Roll products (rolls, mini rolls, pops) that cost $8.

A long time ago (20 years?) Twix came out with 3 new variations: peanut butter, cookies & creme, and fudge. None of them were great, but peanut butter was probably the best. I think they discontinued all three long ago.

meh...they're OK, but not great. I don't think I've ever actually bought one...but used to get a few when my wife bought Halloween candy.

I do like their commercials' song though, stays in your head & you'll never forget what product it's associated with:

gimmie a break
gimmie a break
break me off a piece of that twix twax bar

My kids had more twix than anything. Zero hersheys cookies and creme bars and only a heath or two, but tons of twix, snickers, 3 musketeers, and regular hershey miniatures.

I love Twix. Second favorite candy bar to Violet Crumble (oh I wish you were cheaper 🙁). I gave out caramel apple Milky Ways this year. Those are pretty damn good too.
