if the voters, in their infinite wisdom, had elected someone President with more experience than about 2 hours in the Senate, filibuster reform might have actually been a priority while Democrats still held their super majority.

On what possible cause could you be basing this on? I am unaware of any candidate that had filibuster reform as a major component of their candidacy, and even if they did they would have been told by the Senate to go shove it. The filibuster will someday (hopefully) be changed or eliminated entirely, but it won't be because of a president.
