Try this link to get to Toshiba of Canada's parts listings and blow-up diagrams.

Look it up as 2060cds, which is an identical unit without pre-installed software.

Oops, nevermind, there's no mention of a DVD here.

But:
Here's a support bulletin mentioning DVD.

So it must be possible, but perhaps external connection only, not sure.

If you can't connect with that,
try this link, and select the DVD bulletin.

Here's a PC-card accessory DVD-ROM kit, but it doesn't list the 2065cds as a valid application.

So, I'm stumped. A service bulletin mentions Media-matics DVD-ROM software applicable to the 2065cds, but the hardware description does *not* list that model... Better call Toshiba.

Check one more link I just added to my post above. It's a $400 (yikes!) accessory DVD-ROM for many Toshiba laptops, but not specifically yours, even though the support bulletin for it applies to your model. I don't know...!

I do know that Ram is upgradeable to 160 Mb by a 128 mb module.
You can get it directly from Kingston Technologies, Fountain Valley, CA, or you could go browsing around on auction sites and get it for a relative bargain (maybe $100 to $200).

Yep, it's a KTT 8000/128; retails for $250, but you can find it all day for less than $150.
