I don't know about the volumes you're drinking but too much of anything can kill you. Too much water will fill up in your brain and kill you. Too much pure oxygen is toxic.

I think the reason Americans are fat is because of dairy.

Nope, it's the frutcose....

There is dairy in almost every dish. Adult lactose tolerance is a disease people. Three-fourths of the world is intolerant to lactose!

I've not seen that stat, do you have a link?

"The normal mammalian condition is for the young to lose the ability to effectively digest milk sugar (lactose) at the end of the weaning period (a species-specific length of time usually equal to roughly 3% of lifespan). In humans, lactase production usually drops about 90% during the first four years of life, though the exact drop and age varies widely. However, certain human populations have undergone a mutation on chromosome 2 which results in a bypass of the normal shutdown in lactase production, allowing members of these groups to continue consumption of fresh milk and fresh milk products throughout their lives."

Stats are in wikipedia! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lactose_intolerance

Regular supermarket milk contains a lot of stuff other than milk: pus, blood, etc. Some of this stuff gets filtered out, other stuff doesn't. I drink supermarket milk because it's pretty cheap and I haven't had any adverse health effects. But if you're really concerned, you should drink soy milk.

actually studies found that milk drinkers tend to be thinner than non-drinkers.

the reason they gave is that milk has fat and proteins in it, which give you a full feeling for a long time, so you don't eat as much.

Milk doesn't contain enough calcium to offset the lactic acid, resulting in a net calcium loss to the body. This is why Americans consume more calcium than any other people on earth and yet still have the highest incidences of bone diseases. We get all calcium from milk.
It was 2% btw.

Good luck with those kidney stones.

The only thing more painful is giving birth. Except with the stones, it is constant.

i like milk

too much has been linked to some types of heart disease i think

moderation is good, i would think 2 gallons per week maximum for an adult

That's an approximate 20g of fat a day from just milk alone then, if my numbers are correct..

Our local radio station has a contest every so often where you drink 8oz glasses of milk until you hurl. appearantly there is a rejection point for everyone around the 13-18 glass mark that forces white projectile vomiting. (whover holds down the most milk, 15 seconds after each glass, wins)

I agree with this. 4 years ago I gave up my quart-a-day milk habit that I had had most of my life, and lost 25 pounds in 2 months that I have kept off ever since. I also found out that I am lactose intolerant (so I couldn't go back to drinking milk now and have to avoid most dairy).

Cows' milk is for baby cows, people. It does not do a body good.

Ew so ur gonna milk ur mommy? 😛
