it's not just about the rings.

they would never induct a 4 or 5 yr player into the HOF.

he needs to do it, play at a high level another 3 or 4 yrs. yes, the duration required is shorter in the NFL than MLB but the idea is the same.

how can anyone even think that Brady and Elway are the same class?

brady wins, but he doesn't have the abilities that elway did.

I wasn't belittling John Elway, and I think Tom Brady is just as good him. My point was that John Elway and the broncos would not have won those 2 super bowls without a running game, provided by Terrell Davis. Tom Brady has 2 super bowl rings, 2 super bowl mvps, has the super bowl completion records, etc., etc. If Tom Brady couldn't play another NFL game, I believe he would be elected to the hall of game in 5 years, that's all I'm saying. Hell if Jim Kelly can make it to the HOF, any QB can 😀.

Being a hot shot for a few years does not make you a HOF QB. I agree with all the others who say that he needs another 5-8 playoff seasons to equal the HOF level.

The only way Brady won't make it to the HOF is if he got hurt or quit playing right now.
If he put in another decent 3 yrs(as in just making the playoff), he's a shoo in.
