Is this worth it?

Pfffft. You're better off spending $900 for a new rig and the rest on heroin or blow. Actually that sounds like a good idea.

I didnt even select that avatar, im white. Why you hating? Simple yes or no. Can you link me to something that has a better price?

Im guessing this is a shitty deal from everyone being sarcastic.. lol. Sorry I don't know too much about computers, I spend my free time on the xbox360

Ease up guys, he's only 5 years old. But skilled at something?
Hmmm.. J = joint. He's skilled at smoking joints.

I didn't really look to closely but I bet you could build something comparable for about 2500 bucks. So basically you are paying him 2 grand to build it for you.

That would explain this.

Like I said, I dont know much about computers. My buddy who said he knew how to overclock ruined my CPU. Thats why im getting a new computer.. I dont know what youre trying saying?

If I couldn't build, what I would do is find a deal around $500 (including monitor) and then just add a videocard and PSU and be done. I'm not too sure what you can get for that price, I haven't been in the market for a pre-built comp in a while, but I did this a while ago with a $380 comp and it worked well.

I'm not a big fan of pre-built comps because they may come with crappy boards and PSUs. I like to pick my own case too.

Maybe you can experiment with building? Since you were willing to pay a shitload of cash for a comp maybe you can spend around $400 building your first. Cheap in case it doesn't go so well, but there really isn't much to it. If you are successful and want more power you can build another, beefier, comp and still not be anywhere near those $4k+ you were willing to spend.

I wouldn't recommend spending thousands because as you spend much more you get much less improvement, and those components you spent thousands on will soon be worthless.

considering you know jack about computers, i suggest you are better off buying from an actual company like dell. get an XPS gaming rig. the warranty will do you good in the long run. especially accidental...
