Christ almighty, will you STFU already? There's enough anti-Canadian sentiment on this forum without no-class buttpirates like you spewing your filth.

Here's a suggestion - if you don't like the US, why don't you move back to Canada? That way I wouldn't have to cross the border to come beat the Stupid out of you.

I read all replies in this thread and was wondering what got your long-johns all bunched up in your crack? Nothing seemed to offensive.

I hope that you didn't think I was flaming on you, because that wasn't the direction of the rant. :Q

You're mistaken. America's gun culture focuses on hunting and recreation quite strongly, though there is a good portion of "personal protection" argument thrown in. The right to bear arms is what protects our ability to have those weapons but it is not the reason that those weapons are desired in the first place.

As he is dropping his client off at a sandbar in the river he notices that he doesn't have a gun to protect himself from the bears. So he offers him his 44 Colt. The New Yorker looks at him and holds up a can of bear spray with 12% oleocapasicum- strong stuff. He says, "I don't need to kill bears in order to go fishing!" The guide agrees and off he flies. While leaving the area motion on the sand bar attracts his attention he circles back to see if his client had got a fish on already. He lands on the sand and here is his client rolling of the ground screaming................. It seems that nobody had told this New Yorker that you don't apply bear spray like mosquito repellant.

You can find stupid just about anywhere. I'd like to have seen that pilot try to navigate NYC with total aplomb.

Just cause the US gets tons of coverage in the world press doesn't mean we're any stupider/lazier/more foolish than any other country. We just do it more out in the open.

I agree, I thought it was kind of funny and I'm an American. But isn't it kind of a double standard when it's a joke since it was about Americans, but if he had said, "Turban wearing, camel riding religious fanatics with bombs strapped to their chests" to describe "Muslims", I don't people would take it so lightly.

Ah, I love double standards. You have to if you are a white, young, American male. Seriously, people need to stop being so damn sensitive.
