Is this video card any good?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-14150655-L04B

So for a spare, how does this compare to integrated intel sand/ivy/haswell graphics?

Thought for $9 after rebate it would make a nice spare.

That is going to be substantially slower than the best integrated intel graphics (HD 5200). It probably compares to HD4000 or HD300 graphics from Ivy and Sandy bridge. Even an older AMD APU like the 6800k would destroy that card.

But if all you need it to do is post, it'll work.

LOL being a poor guy that I am I used to play games like max payne 3,GTA 4,crysis 2,mafia 2,mass effect 2,assassins creed 2,etc on HD 5450 and surprisingly except GTA 4,I got playable frame rates in all those games(around 25fps) on low settings at 720p.

The 5450 is the new 6200le, the damn card is everywhere.:awe: Had a fanless 6200le back in 2006 and it sucked except for BF2 at 1024x768 low.

Still think you could get a 6200le, anyone who doesn't sniff crazy glue wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. :whiste:

I grabbed a Powercolor 5450 for $10 MIR a few months ago. I love it... has HDMI output and is fanless/low profile. For $10, it's a great spare!

But looking at its specs, I would not expect it to be able to run any games smoothly unless they were made more than a decade ago.
