Sorry for the blank.

Powercolor's been getting good reviews in general for their video cards. And a 9800 non-pro is a pretty darn good card. About 10-15% slower than a 9800XT, and about equal to a R9700 pro or a FX5900 or 5900XT.

VGA charts

Looks like it is just below a 9700 Pro. Better than a 9600XT though, so not bad. Upper-mid level card.

They seem to be pretty good, for a second tier company. I'd say better than Sapphire, but not as good as Asus. Good price/performance ratio.

Better than Sapphire? you know Sapphire makes most of the Built Buy ATI cards right?

But yeah PowerColor seems to be decent.

Saphire makes ATI's cards.

... just my personal opinion. Nothing major against Sapphire, I have their 9600 Pro.

Not long ago, there were some comparisons of PowerColor's and Sapphire's 9800se where it came out that Sapphire was using an older PCB base, and there was an effect on performance, especially when they were hacked. Maybe the fact that Sapphire does more volume works against them.

Not to mention the highest overclocking brand, which will turn a 9800 np into a 9800 XT like that <snaps fingers>.

umm, ASUS does not make better ATI products than Sapphire. Just cause THG said ASUS is *the best graphics card maker* doesn't mean they are... Sapphire and Powercolor are top notch.

While it's true that Saphire makes a lot of ATI's cards, ASUS has been known to make ATI REFERENCE boards!

Its a good card if the price is right at about $175-190. I believe the 9800Pro's go for about $210.

Check the speeds of the Powercolor board to make sure everything is same across the board for other non pro cards.

You should really just get the 9800 Pro right now tho cause they are cheap and not much more than the non pro.

hehe I'd like an XT but not for the price tho.
