Is this venting/cooling arrangement ok?

(PINK) - Air vents
(BLUE) - Exhaust fans
(RED) - Intake fans
(YELLOW) - Push/Pull
(BROWN) - A fan on the CPU cooler

Your arrows are colored a bit oddly... normally red stands for hot, blue for cold 😀. It looks fine though, cool air in, hot air out, that's how it's done.

Do you actually have an intake fan in the 5.25" bay area? That's unsual.

I don't think push-pull is worth it, you usually only benefit a degree or two while risking noticeably higher noise levels from the second fan. Any benefit you get from the pull fan is practically nil

Whoops sorry i got the colours muddled up....

the 5.25" bay area has metal brackets which pop out when you slide a drive into them - these brackets have holes in them which seem to be there in such a way that it was meant for an optional fan to be put there instead - i have measured it and a 120mm fan would align perfectly to the holes.... i am planning on getting the fans soon!!

would the psu be ok with venting all that hot air out - especially when my pc is under a great load when gaming (planning on ocing the cpu and also the gpu when i get the gpu)??? or will it be too much for the psu??

Technically, that's how the ATX design is supposed to work. Also, as long as you have good airflow, the air doesn't get that warm.

Yep, this is the traditional design. The PSU will regulate its fan speed according to temperature, so it may run somewhat louder when doubling as an exhaust, compared to being installed on the floor with its own intake area.
