like i said, i'll most likely end up giving it away for free. i suppose it's my loss for not thinking to sell it anyways. plus, i'd be pretty pissed if somone did the same to me. ah well, live and learn.

you dont have but probibly 25$ worth of wood, they measure it in cords. we get 4 every fall, usually 200$/cord

just me, but i would not relist.
I believe in "what goes around, comes around...."

yeh, you most likely wouldn't get money for it if you asked being that you can't even tell a prospective buyer what kind of wood it is.

soft woods suck for burning.

i'll post pics later, but it was a really, really tall tree 🙂

thanks for the opinions, guys and gals.

Stick with your original plan. The reason you wanted to post it is to get rid of the wood. The reason people responded is because it's free. Don't get greedy.

sweet jeebus, people really want free firewood. i just checked my email and got 5 more responses :Q

i'll probably take pics, tell them that i'm not lifting a finger to help transport the wood, and first one who commits get it.

if a palm tree grew in our backyard, we would have kept it and called Ripley's Believe It or Not, lol.

the problem is, you have no idea if your "firewood" is even remotely suited to being firewood. if you charge people, then they show up and realize how crappy it is, it's going to be really unpleasant for all involved.

A girl that knows about firewood? 😉

I'd guess some sort of oak but I'm no expert. If you can get a picture of any leaves it's easy to tell from those.
