you dont have but probibly 25$ worth of wood, they measure it in cords. we get 4 every fall, usually 200$/cord

yeh, you most likely wouldn't get money for it if you asked being that you can't even tell a prospective buyer what kind of wood it is.

the problem is, you have no idea if your "firewood" is even remotely suited to being firewood. if you charge people, then they show up and realize how crappy it is, it's going to be really unpleasant for all involved.

I'd guess some sort of oak but I'm no expert. If you can get a picture of any leaves it's easy to tell from those.

the tree's been dead for a while, so there aren't any leaves

i suppose i can get pics of the leaves from the trees nearby.......but i think i'm much too lazy to do that
