Doesen't any one find this odd? I heard the 6800LE's we OEM 8 pipe cards. But if this is correct these cards are essentially GTs.

I would NEVER purchase a card from them, their name just screams cheesy, and their rep. isn't nearly as good as a proven company, such as Gainward, Leadtek, or BFG.

I'm not familiar with them either. But once I bought an off name brand (Hercules GeForce 2 pro) and it is still in my wife's computer. I have been Googeling for some reviews on this card and I haven't had any luck. Has anyone else read any review/benchmarks?

Well I managed to find this article. It refers to "nvidia 6800LE" and not to Apollo 6800LE. It says the card is an 8 pipe card.

Hercules was actually considered the brand to get in the day :)

It smells very fishy. $259 for a 16-pipe 'GT' with 128MB of faster GDDR3 is less than most 12-pipe GT's. More worrysome is the claim of using GDDR3 - no 128MB cards beside the 6600GT and X700XT that I know of use GDDR3.

It could be a steal - in the first link it says 16-pipes, 800 MHz memory (the 6800nu is 700 MHz memory AFAIK), 325 MHz core.

But I would let someone else buy first. You know what it means when something is too good to be true...

Even Apollo's own site does not show a 6800LE, only a 6800 and with the same specs as the posters links.
Maybe its a 128mb 6800GT in reality? Would be far better than a 6800NU at the same price point.

Newegg say's it only has 8 pipes. Obviously, somethng is amiss.

Well I just went over to CompUSA and bought one of the $200 PNY 6800NUs. I'm gonna stick it in and see if RivaTuner can unlock it.

Thanks for all the replies.
