I liked waggy's description better. ():)

I must have missed that but what got me about this thread was how readily she made light of a couple of the shorter guys in this thread but one little comment or observation about her and she springs a leak and gets uber defensive and hostile? Damn who fell off their meds? Besides if you can't take it you shouldn't be dishing it. "Hey I'm going to speculate about all of you but don't anyone shine a light on me!"

If I remember he had do everything right to get to the next day maybe if I made you disappear i would get to the next day, win win for everyone. :p

It wasn't that he did everything right, it was that he grew up.

Pun unintended.

I'm only 5-7" 5-8"ish but I've never really had an issue with my height because if I lay down on my stomach I'm at least 6-2" or 6-3"

Umm...if she was 2" shorter how was she taller than youo_O

N/M...reading comprehension failure:(

Don't worry, I read it the same way initially. The way he wrote it (though technically correct I suppose), made it sound like he was saying she was taller than he was, despite him having posted the heights of both.

I'm 6'1", and a tad bit over. Was 6' even for a long time but grew a tiny bit every year after I turned 18 to 25 when I finally stopped.

I do have a problem with pants though. I usually have to stick with 32" inseam. I would rather have 30-31" inseam, but then the waistline isn't high enough.

Umm.. big balls and above average package means I do not a whole lot of room down there :) If I pulled everything up, it would be about 34" inseam. I like to keep it roomy and comfortable down there though.

Sometimes I love being this height and sometimes I find it a pain. Like since my current GF, who's 5'4", just got her first car which was a pontiac solstice I can barely fit in that thing. I mean I can, but I feel like a sardine in it.

Oh, and chairs suck for me all around. Cause I need to spread my legs a bit. Also, I got large thick leg as well for my size. Which only compounds the problem of sitting in most chairs for me. My butt is actually kind of small though for my proportions. Or so I've been told more than a few times.

Then I got a barrel chest but narrower shoulders for my size. My chest at its widest when measuring from under my arm pits is 51". Which means that even though right now I got a bit of extra weight on me that I shouldn't have, it doesn't look nearly as bad as it could if my chest wasn't to round.

Curious what the signs were. Anecdote?

Being the awesome, understanding, supportive person I am I used to get our female friends to tell him in casual conversation "You're such a great guy but I could never date you because you are too short." knowing full well he would then launch into his tirade about shallow adhearance to superficial appearances

It was generally pretty easy to get him to go off on a rant about it. He did have something to it though. To be honest I didn't believe him at first but I did see, on numerous occasions, women turn him down based on his height

Classic overcompensation! :D

You can't overcompensate for awesome :colbert:

The inferiority complex stereotype is pretty insulting for me. I'm 5'7" and know that I'm a worthless subhuman piece of shit and live my life with the primary goal of not disturbing any of my superiors.

I'm 5'10". I really forget how short I am because I am decent at basketball. Tall people usually gravitate towards basketball because it's always been easier for them. So I always imagine myself taller than I am since I can play with them. Sometimes they'll start talking about their height and it's usually 6' and up. Then I look around and I'm usually one of the short guys.
