I would imagine that as long as your system resources arn't being used up it shouldn't be a problem

Well, yeah, but what if all of them suddenly jump up and fight for system resources all at once? 😛

next time I'm at work I'll grab a screenshot of our POS system... NT4 dual 450's(?) and 256 MB there have got to be over 50 if not over 80 processes running... it's a madhouse and VERY slow on many database functions 🙁

LOL,I hear your pain, I got told by some Tool "NT isn't like Win98 you know,it's much easier on resources" yeah right, ok but 128 MB is only going to go but so far here

?? Oh well. 🙂 I have Pop-up Stopper and Pop-up Stopper Companion both installed. Plus I have the Google toolbar and the dictionary toolbar installed. I have the Norton AntiVirus toolbar install, but that gets installed when you install Norton SystemWorks automatically.

My system can handle it, so I don't mind if there's 30MB used for an IE window. If I open three more windows, I'm only using 31MB 😕

:shrug;

27 here. With 3 programs running (4 if you include the task manager) and one hidden program (XPlanet starter generating my desktop every 10 minutes) besides all the system stuff. My IE's at 38MB with 3 windows open :Q peak was 69MB
