Is this 9033 too low for my vid card? I used default settings. I saw people online hit 10000+ plus with their radeon.

System Specs:
Northwood 1.6ghz @ 2.133ghz(532 fsb)
TH7II-RAID
256 DDR RAM CL 2
Radeon 8500 OEM (270/270)
 
I wish I could get 9033 with my radeon 8500. I all depends on processessor speed, front side bus and overclocking the Radeon card too. Forgetabout benchmark numbers, they do nothing to aid your enjoyment of the game. Turn on the anti-aliasing, go for quality, not speed and see what this card can really do graphically.
 
That is very good for your setup. You can't really expect to score over 10,000 points with any non overlcocked video card, unless you have a GeForce 4.
