is this TNT2-M64 dead?

its an extra cheap TNT2-M64 32mb AGP, heres the symptons:

Wont detect PNP monitors
Q3 locks ~ 2 min
3dm2k - artifacts everywhere, physco colors, flashing dots and lines, eventual lock
UT - locks during intro, flashing dots rainbow textures
Final Reality - actually works ok.. the only thing that does!
Very crap 2d (blurring, etc) at anthing over 1024*768 60hz on a monitor I know is good.

I tested it in two separate systems (Athlon classic 650 and Duron @ 988mhz), and it does the EXACT same thing in both, but when I put my Viper V770 TNT2-Ultra into either system it works perfectly!

I even tried downclocking the card to 105/105 and it still fvcks up

Is it dead?
RMA it? (its new)

Bah if I had a tnt2 m64 and it was KIA I would just throw it out. It's useless anyway so sending it back for an rma is just a waste of time.

m64 sux and expensive best bang is tnt2 or viperII maybe tnt2 ultra if you are lucky to find good low price at 50 to 60ish

On your systems, the Savage. On lower-end systems, the M64 does just fine. I know nobody likes 'em, but I do... $30, and they (in my experience) overclock like hell- on a system that can't push data fast enough to get limited by its memory bandwidth anyway, an M64 can be one of your best choices!
