There's a small mob guarding the front gates in addition to the army. Some assholes did get in before the lockdown and ripped the heads off 2 mummies. They also trashed a bunch of gold miniature Tut statues. That's the "official" word.

I wouldn't be surprised if things got "looted during the upheaval" when international people get there to inspect.
