The difference between 5 and 13 isn't as big as it seems, as the projected point difference is only .55. He has them in the same "tier."

My gut tells me that Eli doesn't have 2 disaster games in a row. And Cleveland has been a better scoring DS/T overall this year. It's a tossup, I don't think you could go wrong either way.

Pretty sure that was written on Tuesday before the Haden news came out - he's now a game time decision and won't practice all week. For reference, Haden is the #26/109 CB and Buster Skrine is #91/109; without Haden it's going to be a long day for Skrine and Posey/McFadden (neither in the top 100). Their only saving grace is TJ Ward (#2 safety in the league) but he's not going to be enough. Cleveland also has the 12th worst pass rush and has posted a negative pass rush in the last 5 out of 6 games. So if your only good coverage guy is the safety and you can semi-stop the run, then it's pretty easy to predict what NYJ will do with time to pass - they will try to eviscerate Skrine/Posey/McFadden with Nelson, Kerley, and Winslow.

It could even turn into pass heavy game if Josh Gordon busts free (he should against that secondary). Will be fun to watch, and without Haden or a pass rush I don't have confidence in any cornerback on that team on the road. NYJ are 5-2 at home, beating the Saints and Patriots who are better teams than Cleveland.

I picked up Cousins off waivers basically to block my opponent from getting him (he has Luck @ KC and Ryan @ SF), now I'm really thinking about starting him over Romo. Am I crazy? Also, Colston or Cooper as my WR3? We run 2RB, 3WR and no flex. I've got Dez and Gordon as my top 2 WR. Take a flyer on Caldwell?

I'm rolling with Colston on my team. Colston has gotten a ton of targets (especially in the redzone) during past few weeks (7, 13, 13). He burned the Panthers for 2 TDs two weeks ago and even caught a TD in garbage time vs the Rams but the Saints have been bad on the road. Cooper only got 7 targets last game and Foles threw 49 times (DJax got 15 tgts). While, I think the Bears/Eagles game will be a high scoring affair, Colston might be a safer bet.

As far as Romo vs Cousins.. prob a coin flip.. I would go with Romo, though.

You're not crazy at all. Start Cousins, but it's close. If you want safe, then Romo.
Colston over cooper. The saints will figure out what to do against the D, they always do.

I picked up Cousins vs. having Tannehill. I really want to start Cousins based on matchup. Tannehill has done me good the last week since losing RG3, but tough to start him over Cousins because of matchup.

The thing with Cousins is that Shanahan pretty much admitted that they want to show him off and garner a first rd pick (doubtful) so I think the playcalling will feature a lot of opportunities for him. Alfred Morris averaged 5.4yd/carry vs the Falcons but he only got 18 carries. I think we'll see the same trend in the game vs Dallas. So basically, if you need to roll the dice then go all in with Cousins.

You're probably right. Kaep could explode if they want to preserve Gore for the playoffs. Sproles hasn't done shit lately. Woodhead, hasn't done much since the emergence Mathews but has a good matchup. VJax, probably not going to go off vs St.L pass rush unless it's garbage time (limited damage). Brown is the biggest threat but has to play @Green Bay, where there is currently an 80% chance of snow. Clay is boom or bust and goose-egged last week. Broncos are boom or bust.

Your team: Cam should do fine. Charles is part demigod and will get his points against Indy. Lynch could have tougher than usual sledding but the home field advantage could get him the ball more (assuming the defense is its usual dominant self). Marshall should have a good day in a possible shootout. Colston will probably be avg against Panthers. Todman, not a fan of that matchup but he will get you solid points off volume alone. (Assuming there wasn't much else out there for you to get, RB-wise?) DET is a solid play. Scobee, solid points.

You should win unless Kaep goes crazy like Game 1 vs the Packers and all of his boom or busts come out and boom (Clay, Broncos).

I got SJax vs SF and Montee Ball vs HOU that I can play in FLEX over Todman. If Denver totally dominates than I'd assume they would rest Moreno and ride Ball. Nonetheless, I'm pretty high on Todman.. TEN's rush defense is pretty awful and Todamn ran for 150yd vs BUF who are equally as bad. As far as my matchup, all players would've played except for Kaep on MNF - so I might have to sweat it out then..

Ur team is better (def. on paper) and i think you will be fine unless some of the other team's players have a historic games.. Not likely given the players..but ur players counter his at all spots. Basically unless ur players put up duds u'll win. I hope Antonio Brown does, though.. :p

Thanks for the vote of confidence. This is a weird ppr league with bonus pts for return yardage and kick return td's . Antonio Brown got me 70+ pts last game. I need him and Micah Hyde to do that again ftw...

I get $800 if i win and $250 bonus if I get highest weekly score. I had highest score up until 2 weeks ago when someone got a return td

Ok, then you'll do even better since you got the return yds.. (does Todman return kicks?). I didn't notice the IDPs at first.. not really sure about those (last time I played IDPs was in '02). Can't imagine IDPs making a difference *shrug*

Idp's can make a huge difference. JJ watt, karlos Dansby, and other monster guys ...and then the kick return db's. Lots of points to be scored. Basically the commish didnt want someone who had the hot rb's to be able to walk all over the season

Need to start two:

Eddie Lacy at home vs Pittsburgh
Alfred Morris vs Dallas
Zac Stacy at home vs Tampa Bay

Thats pretty tough. I'd probably go Stacy and then its a toss up between Morris and Lacy.

I think the 'skins are showcasing Cousins and will probably throw the ball a lot which hurts Morris since he is a non factor in the passing game.

There is an 80% chance of snow in Green Bay on Sunday so the Packers probably will run A LOT....especially if Rodgers doesn't play.

Yeah, never played PPR or IDP. How do hot RB's vs hot QB's stack up in your league? i.e. how are QB's neutralized.

He nerfed their point generation a little but they still are somewhat OP. Everybody still went after RB's first and I got Brees. The guy who got Peyton had a crappy team but still was winning because of Peyton.

I think overall though given a solid day - a rb, wr, te and qb score about the same. Maybe the qb a little more. Unless you were peyton fucking manning...lol

I just realized that Schaub is starting. With that news, one would think that makes the Denver DS/T a possible sneaky play, no? I mean, Schaub is a pick 6 throwing machine.

Made it to the finals in 2 out of 3 of my leagues.

The one with money down I could use your opinions..

Not sure if I should use Lacy or Ryan Mathews.. I know mathews sucked at the start of the season but he's been doing good the last 6 weeks.

But.. its suppose to snow in GB which I assume means more running.

Everything else look good?

I like Matthews for the matchup, i dont think you can go wrong with either one.

First time making it to championship game. Opponent is projected to outscore me by 30 points, and I think he'll end up winning. But I don't want to lose by playing the wrong players. So definitely need your input. Here is my team. How does my lineup look?

QB. Foles
Rb. Gore
Rb. Dennis Johnson
Wr. B. Hartline
Wr. Marvin Jones
Te. Olsen
Flex. Pitta
D/ST. Dolphins
K. Gostkowski

Bench
Amendola
Pierre Thomas
Riley Cooper
Cordarrelle Patterson
Andy Dalton
Lions D

Should i be playing Pitta? And should i play Lions D instead?

Also not sure if i should play dalton instead of foles this week. A more favorable matchup for sure.

Fantasypros is telling me to play amendola, cooper, and lions instead of jones, pitta, and dolphins

Sounds like MJD is going to start.. Just replaced Todman with Pitta. :(

Crap. He was my flex start to cover for the following trouble, pick 2.

Fitzgerald - bad matchup plus concussion
TY Hilton - boom or bust, but lately big bust and he's hurt going against KC
Delanie Walker - nice jacksonville matchup

I'm leaning fitz and Walker, they don't have the chance of putting up 2-4 points like TY Hilton does. Higher floor, but lower ceiling.

Starting Cousins over Tannehill. And KC defense over Detroit, the colts just don't look very good right now. Then again since I have KC, Hilton might be a good start. If he goes off I recover the defensive points lost with him.

I'm starting to rethink Todman again.. So this could be MJD's last home game - maybe MJD wants to start for that reason? and Todman will still get the majority of touches? Still too risky
