Alright Alright! Pretty much won both my playoff matchups this week. First team is up by 67 points going up against Calvin Johnson tomorrow.

Second team is up by 2 points thanks to my opponent getting a goose egg from Benjarvus Green-Ellis and I still have Dennis Pitta Monday night. Unless Pitta somehow gets 3 fumbles I win.

If you're up by two and he has no one left to play, then why don't you bench Pitta?

Yea, I'd bench him. Made it to the finals. Looks like I will be playing against a pretty stacked team with Manning, Moreno, and Witten. At least I will get some money!

Just in case there is a stat correction. Besides, I seriously doubt Pitta gets -3 points.

I can see your logic, but have stat corrections been a common occurrence in your league before now? I've only had it affect me once this year, where they took some yardage back from Dez a few weeks ago.

Speaking of Dez, I appreciate the points he got me, but damn, he's a whiny little bitch

I am up by 29 but still have to face Megatron and Reggie Bush tonight. Not liking those odds. I needed a lot more than the 10 points that Rapistburger got last night to make me feel more comfortable.

Oh and on a related note, thank you Victor Cruz, Andre Brown, and Demarius Thomas for getting me a combined 7.5 points during the playoff semifinals.

Cruz had a concussion. Not sure if he will be cleared to play next week

Cruz has been riding my bench for weeks now. He's awful this year. I also benched Brown due to the horrible matchup.

I did not expect this. I'm up 39 points. I have Justin Tucker to play, he has Rice and Bush. I think I'm pretty good. Both teams have good run Ds which should limit the points he puts up. What I thought was the worse of my two teams may actually make it to the championship game.

My other team is also in the consolation ladder final game and I basically get my entry fee back if I win that.

I'm guessing you had no other options than Cruz/Brown vs Seattle? That was a tough matchup.

I had Deangelo Williams and Kendall Wright on the bench. Brown was pretty consistent and figured he'd have at least 4-6 points. I wasn't really expecting much out Williams - Jets defense is tough and he just hasn't run that well all year.

Wright vs. Cruz was a toss up. Seattle has been somewhat vulnerable to smaller, faster slot receivers. Their CB's are big physical guys and handle the bigger WR's better than the little guys. I figured Cruz could find some space and make some plays. Wright has been a boom or bust guy and Arizona wasn't really that favorable of a matchup either.

D. Thomas
Andre Brown
B Rainey
J Thomas
S Vereen

For a combined 17.1

I had K. Allen and R. Jennings on my bench. I meant to put in Allen for Vereen and put in Jennings for Rainey. I am down 12 with nobody left and he has Calvin Johnson. I have been working a lot.

I have five leagues I played in this year. I made the playoffs this week in 4 of them. I got knocked out of one, I won the other three playoff matchups this week and am now headed to the playoss in the last one.

Cruz has pretty much been a glorified Steve Smith since week 4

Cruz: 47 receptions, 573 yards - 104 points (ppr)
Smith: 45 receptions, 498 yards, 3 TDS - 112 (ppr)

I had to roll with Brown myself as my only other RBs were Gore and Joique Bell. Brown had the same total as Gore in that league (5 points) so no biggie. I really like Frank Gore's matchup next game. Pending on what goes on with Reggie Bush I am confident in rolling out Frank Gore & Zac Stacy as my starting RBs in week 16.

Ok, I can see why you played them. Eli vs Seattle or Fitz vs AZ, pick your poison. Although I usually try to maximize variance by not playing two people (non-QB) on the same team in case their team tanks.

Yeah I am always starting Gore every week b/c of SF's consistent top 5 run blocking.

Gore is going to shred the Falcons.

That league has been rough for me. I was constantly chasing injuries and trying to backfill spots and blowing my waiver wire adds.

I drafted before that pre-season game that Brown broke his leg.

So of my starting lineup I lost the following to IR...
- Brown right off the bat
- Doug Martin
- Mike Williams
- Owen Daniells
- Jermicheal Finely
- Mike James
- Aaron Dobson
- RGIII has been benched IRL
- Brian Hoyer
- Now Garret Graham is out
- Looks like I'll lose Cruz for the rest of the year

Never could get a quality waiver because I was chasing to backfill a spot.

Bruce Miller is out with a fractured scapula. Not sure how much it'll affect Gore, but it could. Iupati should be back this week though so that'll help.

Yeah that sucks b/c Miller did great yesterday (can't say the same for Anthony Davis, or Vernon Davis in the run game). He helped Gore rush for 100+ against Seattle. Iupati should really help Gore if he's back. Either way I'm starting Gore every week.

Yeah that's a shitty year. I don't know anyone who drafted RGIII or Matt Ryan or Kaepernick that made the playoffs. Also got hit with Mike James/Owen Daniels/Finley and other horrible crap like Locker, David Wilson, R.Cobb, Julio, etc. Really didn't start to do heavy analysis of the games until around week 5 which was too late. I'll still win the consolation bracket which isn't bad for my first year with mostly a waiver team. Also didn't realize how badly Yahoo standard scoring is stacked for QBs. Really looking forward to next year's draft with a fresh strategy.

Ouchie...

I had it bad...but not that bad...I guess...

I lost Julio, Gronk and Doug Martin....was clinging to life in the playoffs until Jamal Charles decided he wanted to go all "American History X" and curb stomp me all by himself!

Yeah, I joke in this thread about "you've been warned" when I make an aquisition of a player...but it's really the truth.

Two years ago I think I went through something like 7 quarterbacks in a season because every week I picked them up they would go down with some kind of injury.

So yeah...

I picked up Pitta in two of my leagues this week so that means his surgically repaired hip is going to fall off tonight.
