7 point lead and I have justin tucker and opponent has ray rice. Do I have a chance?![]()
Alright Alright! Pretty much won both my playoff matchups this week. First team is up by 67 points going up against Calvin Johnson tomorrow.
Second team is up by 2 points thanks to my opponent getting a goose egg from Benjarvus Green-Ellis and I still have Dennis Pitta Monday night. Unless Pitta somehow gets 3 fumbles I win.
If you're up by two and he has no one left to play, then why don't you bench Pitta?

Just in case there is a stat correction. Besides, I seriously doubt Pitta gets -3 points.
Oh and on a related note, thank you Victor Cruz, Andre Brown, and Demarius Thomas for getting me a combined 7.5 points during the playoff semifinals.

I'm guessing you had no other options than Cruz/Brown vs Seattle? That was a tough matchup.

Cruz has been riding my bench for weeks now. He's awful this year. I also benched Brown due to the horrible matchup.

I had Deangelo Williams and Kendall Wright on the bench. Brown was pretty consistent and figured he'd have at least 4-6 points. I wasn't really expecting much out Williams - Jets defense is tough and he just hasn't run that well all year.
Wright vs. Cruz was a toss up. Seattle has been somewhat vulnerable to smaller, faster slot receivers. Their CB's are big physical guys and handle the bigger WR's better than the little guys. I figured Cruz could find some space and make some plays. Wright has been a boom or bust guy and Arizona wasn't really that favorable of a matchup either.
I had to roll with Brown myself as my only other RBs were Gore and Joique Bell. Brown had the same total as Gore in that league (5 points) so no biggie. I really like Frank Gore's matchup next game. Pending on what goes on with Reggie Bush I am confident in rolling out Frank Gore & Zac Stacy as my starting RBs in week 16.
Yeah I am always starting Gore every week b/c of SF's consistent top 5 run blocking.
Gore is going to shred the Falcons.
Bruce Miller is out with a fractured scapula. Not sure how much it'll affect Gore, but it could. Iupati should be back this week though so that'll help.
That league has been rough for me. I was constantly chasing injuries and trying to backfill spots and blowing my waiver wire adds.
I drafted before that pre-season game that Brown broke his leg.
So of my starting lineup I lost the following to IR...
- Brown right off the bat
- Doug Martin
- Mike Williams
- Owen Daniells
- Jermicheal Finely
- Mike James
- Aaron Dobson
- RGIII has been benched IRL
- Brian Hoyer
- Now Garret Graham is out
- Looks like I'll lose Cruz for the rest of the year
Never could get a quality waiver because I was chasing to backfill a spot.
