I get that bullying is wrong, I really do. But for the love of God, I wish they'd please talk about something other than Incognito and Martin on ESPN and other sports channels. This subject is covered/talked about non stop now. Everyone has their two cents on it now, and I haven't really heard one original comment on the matter in the last 24+ hours.

I need player info!

I was home from work on Monday and there was a 2 hour conference with Elway explaining John Fox's heart surgery and their situation. That should have been an 30 second interview.

Elway: John Fox is out for a few weeks. It's something 100,000 other people have done every year. He'll be fine. We have Peyton Fucking Manning running our Offense. We'll be fine.

End of transcript.

Maybe it's always been this way and I haven't paid attention, maybe it's just ESPN trying to keep itself busy by generating drama out of nothing. Whatever. I just can't believe the amount of drama and TV time spent discussing these situations. Talk about first world problems.

I've pretty much resorted to relying on Twitter now for stuff.

Anyone else thinking about dropping Trent Richardson?

The following guys are all available in my league:

Maurice Jones Drew
Lamar Miller
Zac Stacy
Pierre Thomas
Mike James

Also if you had to pick would you rather have Mike James or Riley Cooper on your team?

I would pick up Zac Stacy ASAP. If you need the room you can drop Richardson for him

Edit: And if you're grabbing Stacy, I'd go with Cooper on the other question. Foles seems to really like him. I think Vick didn't target him much because of his use of the N word.

Good God, man, listen to Mat! Grab Stacy, now!

Ridiculous. On a similar note, I looked at my gf last night and said, "What does the John Fox say?". then clutched my chest and sang, "AH AH AH AH AH AHHHHHH!!!".

Too soon?

Brown is much better than what they have available at this time. Either sit him or play him. If they play him, expect him to get a good amount of touches.

Latest info:
NJ.com says Peyton Hillis is expected to be the "primary option" in the Giants backfield Sunday.
In the two games before the bye, Hillis rushed 38 times for 106 yards (2.78 YPC) and caught eight passes for 60 yards. The Giants won both games. It appears that they're set to ease Andre Brown (leg) in slowly as he comes off short-term IR. "He's ready to help," coach Tom Coughlin said of Brown. "But there is a big difference between game day and practice." Brandon Jacobs (hamstring) is also expected to be in the mix. Eventually, we'd expect Brown to rise to the top of this backfield as the only one with any juice in his legs. But for now, expect some kind of committee with Hillis in the lead.

No way in hell Brown will get a full load of touches Sunday.

I agree

I don't think Andre Brown is a good start at all this weekend unless there are just no other options. Best to wait and see how the backfield situation shakes up before anyone sticks Andre Brown in their fantasy starting lineup.

I'm holding off on offering a trade now anyway. Gonna ride Moreno the rest of the way, boom or bust. I realize Lacy clearly has more talent, and Moreno is just where he's at because of the QB and team behind him. But I'm gonna dance with the one I brought to the prom :)

One or two more questions. I need to grab a 2nd QB as Brees injury insurance (I've got an open bench slot, so I'm not dropping anyone). The best choices left are:

Cutler
Locker
Keenum
Dalton too, I guess, but not really considering him a good choice.

Also, with K.C. on bye, I picked up the Giants D to play this week, but I'm wondering if any of these might be better bets:

Colts vs. St. Louis
Oakland @ Giants
Texans @ Arizona

Lastly, Garcon wasn't picked up on waivers last night (which seemed odd to me), so I can grab him and drop Kendall Wright. Would you guys do this? Either one is strictly a bench fill right now since I've got Megatron and Dez slotted up, with Percy also on the bench. So Garcon or Wright are just insurance for now. Garcon looks to have a slightly tougher schedule, but looks like he may finally be clicking with RG3. There's a lot more run game with Washington than there is with the Titans though (from what I can tell).

Non PPR

Good lord, how many teams are in your league? It's bad enough that someone dropped Garcon, but even worse that noone even put a waiver for him. WTF. Garcon is better than Harvin (who knows when he'll be back) and Wright combined.

QBs, I'd rank it Cutler and then Dalton for weapons.

DST, Indy out of those listed. They get to make Kellen Clemens beat them. Poor StL.

I know peeps are all on Zac Stacy's jock but consider that teams will be stacking the box and forcing Kellen Clemens to beat them. Think Minnesota but with a 1/3 Adrian Peterson, Stacy is good but he has Indy, Bye, Chi, and at SF before the playoffs. The only game that is must start is Chicago, they are worst in the league in Run D. On a side note, someone mentioned in the Lacy vs Moreno debate that Lacy was beating the Chicago stacked box but that's like winning the special olympics. Lacy won't be doing that vs NYG or Philly.

Would I rather have Mike James or Cooper? It depends on your roster. Personally, I'd rather have Mike James than even Zac Stacy and picked him up off waivers in one league. His schedule is much softer than Stacy's: MIA, ATL, DET, CAR. You'd only be hesitant in starting him vs CAR as he only scored 6.x pts vs them last game.

Cooper, I'm still not convinced that last week wasn't a fluke so more of a risk. If you want steady, guaranteed production with an average chance for a TD, go with Mike James. If you want boom or bust with the possibility of a couple TDs or very little points, go with Cooper. I'm pairing James with L.McCoy so steady production is better for me at that slot in the roster.

I noticed Spiller wasnt listed on the injury report this week. Should he be trusted to do anything this week? He did real well last week, but he's burned me so many times this year.

So which two of Stacy, Jennings, and Spiller? Since Powell has been bad as of late I dropped him to pick up Rashad Jennings just to piss off the McFadden owner who was one spot behind me in waiver order :D I also have Andre Brown, Stewart and Tolbert but I'm not even considering them.

Also I know they're just projections but why is Kaepernick only projected at a mere 6 points in ESPN fantasy? Panthers defense is pretty good, but 6 points?

Indy just let Cracked Ribs Tate and Dennis Johnson run for over 100 yards against them. That run D does not scare me, Zac Stacy is a good start this week if you need him.

Any Wide Receivers I can pick up in a non-PPR league with W/T flex league this week?

A.J. Green (vs BAL)
Torrey Smith (vs CIN)
Denarius Moore (vs NYG)
James Jones (vs PHI)

I have Green and Smith starting now with Moore in the flex position. Smith is to inconsistent I am actually wanting to bench him. Jones's value just took a deep dive after Rodger's injury and coming off an injury as well. I'd like to boost my flex position.

James plays the Dolphins this week. He is getting the Doug Martin workload.

It is going to be a timeshare and not worth anything to have a Giants RB next week. Brown and his coaches made it seem that he was ready for the full load last week. If he isn't ready then rest him another week.

I don't think you will find much on the wire that would be better than T.Smith. Smith has been getting a good chunk of yards and could bust out with a 2 TD game any week. But if you want to take a gamble on some lesser owned receivers some that you might consider are:

Lance Moore vs. Dallas
Tim Wright vs. Miami
Riley Cooper @ Green Bay
Chris Givens @ Indy
Eddie Royal vs. Denver

Spiller and Lacy.

And I don't know about ESPN, but projections in general are usually done by humans who put in the number of yards and touchdowns they expect based on stats and possibly using some formulas. They can be meaningless sometimes, and sometimes someone just forgot to add a digit here or there. Don't rely on projections too much.

You have to look at why Tate and co ran for "over a hundred yards" combined. Within the first 11 minutes of the game, Keenum hit Andre Johnson for 62 and 41 yard TD strikes for a 14-0 lead. That is going to keep the defense very honest against the pass and susceptible to the run. Are you saying Kellen Clemens will replicate such a performance to keep Indy honest? He could, but highly unlikely. Nobody on StL is even remotely close to Andre Johnson's playmaking ability IMO.

Edit: Also, PFF composite DST Rankings put Indy as the #7 DST this week, with only TEN, SF, ARZ, SEA, CAR, and Cincy as better. ESPN Standard is ranking them as the #2 play w/ low variance, as noted on the Defense Wins Championships site. Rotoworld's Getting Defensive column has them as their #2 Preferred Play (#3 overall).

I'll never draft a giant or saint RB ever again until very late Too much burn.

Those two teams no matter what the talent can't be trusted for touches at RB.

Thanks for the help guys. I really have no faith in Richardson anymore. Yahoo keeps projecting him 10-13 points per game but he's been incredibly inconsistent with the Colts.

8 teams. Garcon certainly could have helped a few people, but they either just don't care that much anymore (there's twp 2-7 teams that have pretty much resigned themselves to crappy seasons. Although one of those teams did claim Foles), or they just don't know about Garcon.

I loved having Garcon on my team this year, but the only reason I was hesitant to pull the trigger on him this year was due to his performance this season so far. It's not really Garcon's fault, so much as the play calling and Quarterbacking that's been going on there this year. Last week was a good turn around for Garcon, I just hope it maintains now that I scooped him up.

Just for shits and giggles I texted Lacy's owner last night, and asked her if she wanted Moreno in trade. She just laughed and said she didn't blame me for trying. She's not as dumb as I thought she was.

I dropped the Giants DS/T just now, and picked up the Colts. We'll see what happens. Tucked away Cutler as insurance too.

Well, for anyone still holding onto David Wilson (like me in a couple leagues..) He's likely to go to IR today. I'll drop him after the confirmation.
