Who's the DS/T to take for week ten here? I have K.C. coming up on bye

Edit: I know the Lions haven't done much lately, but they did put up 13 points against Chicago earlier this season, and they have em' week 10

Wow, those are some pretty terrible options. I think the Jets and Browns are on bye next week also, so they're out even though they'd probably be best otherwise. Lions vs. Bears doesn't seem like a good matchup to me. Colts vs. STL looks reasonable, and as much as I'm surprised to say it so do the Raiders playing NYG or Miami playing TB.

Nobody answered my Luck for Marshall or D. Jackson post yet! I'm pretty stacked with WR's as it is, but unless Rivers gets hurt I don't need 2 qb's.

I doubt you'd get Marshall for Luck straight up, and you're in bigger need of a TE anyway.

The only league I drafted Aaron Rodgers in, I have Matthew Stafford for my backup. I hope Stafford does well.

Had a trade vetoed in my league.

I was trading Tate (seattle) and Vereen and getting Marshall. Obviously Marshall is the best player in the deal but Tate had been playing well over the past 4 weeks. Tate was ranked 90th overall compared to Marshall's 54 overall.

I lost Cobb due to injury so I am having some issues at WR for the upcoming bye weeks. The other owner has some descent WRs so downgrading Marshall wasn't a major concern. The inconsistent play of the RBs (Rice, P.Thomas, L.Miller) was the issue.

So based on remaining game projections Tate is the #37 WR and Vereen #27 RB. Their preseason rank was 77 and 75. Marshall has McCown at QB (although he played well tonight) so that downgrades him a little.

What pissed me off was the league approved a deal of RG3 for B.Bolden (NE). RG3's projected points are 126 to Bolden's 16. RG3 is projected #6 QB and Bolden #106 RB.

I really don't care how people manage their teams. If they want to deal for someone lesser then thats up to them. If they got a gut feeling on a player then so be it. I mean who though Cooper and Foles would put up those numbers this week.

Neither of those trades were unfair to the league. Sure, it looked like 1 teams got a better deal but it wasn't collusion nor would it give an unfair advantage to the rest of the league.

I was rolling with Rodgers as my only QB and now am pretty screwed The scoring settings heavily favor the elite QBs in that league. Maybe I will be able to grab Jay Cutler off the waiver wire.

I know, but nobody that needs a QB has a TE. Olsen is actually doing better than I thought and putting up regular points. And I had a verbal commitment to get Marshall for Luck already. Maybe I can trade him or Jeffrey for a TE.

Brady is off this week so I'm off to the waiver wire for a QB. Should I take Foles vs GB, Locker vs JAX, or Keenum vs ARI? I'm not starting Ryan vs SEA since he has been an interception machine the past couple weeks.

I'm having a tough decision between those 3 as well. The safe bet would be locker, its an easy matchup and he has proven to be a competent QB. Only problem is that Chris Johnson and Shonn Greene will probably get touchdowns so expecting anything more than a 2 TD game from Locker is unlikely. If you want the upside go with Foles.

Glennon playing Miami might be worth exploring as well if he's on the wire. I have the feeling that Miami D will revert to mean after the great play vs. CIN last week.

Yep, but them's the cards I'm dealt. I had been looking at the Raiders a week ago, and they looked to be my lock to grab, but then they shat the bed. So who knows, maybe they improve. They are playing the Giants after all.

Worst showing my fantasy career this week. :(

How does 3 sacks and 2 int equal 0 points for you defense? I put up a similarly dismall performance in the ATOT ppr league. I got slightly saved by picking up big berger for staffords bye, but otherwise I did about the same as you.

They had 550+ yds against them, that's -7pts right there.

Interesting, I don't think I've ever played in a league where yardage counted on defense.

McFadden, Foster and Cameron combined for 3.9 pts this week. Booooooo.

With Rodgers being out for at least a few weeks which QB should I target on the waiver wire:

Jay Cutler, Nick Foles, Big Ben, Jake Locker, Tyrelle Pryor

I'm leaning towards Cutler as the best long term solution of the bunch but I am taking a gamble on him starting this week. I would like Nick Foles but he has a bye next week and with a short bench (4 spots) it would be hard to carry 3 QBs.

I posted before about the keeper league I joined this year and how the scoring was skewed heavily towards QBs. I joined it quickly before checking and here is the offense scoring system:

Passing Attempts: 1 point
Passing Completions: 2 points
Incomplete Passes: -1 point
Passing Yards: 1 point per 15 yards
Passing Touchdowns: 6 points
Interceptions Thrown: -3 points
Every Time Sacked: -2 points
300-399 Passing Yards Bonus: 10 points
400+ Passing Yards Bonus: 15 points
40+ Passing Yard TD Bonus: 4 points
50+ Passing Yards TD Bonus: 5 points
Rushing Attempts: 1 point
Rushing Yards: 1 point per 15 yards
Rushing Touchdowns: 6 points
40+ Rushing Yard TD Bonus: 4 points
50+ Rushing Yard TD Bonus: 5 points
100-199 Rushing Yards Bonus: 10 points
200+ Rushing Yards Bonus: 15 points
Receptions: 1 point
Receiving Yards: 1 point per 10 yards
Receiving Touchdowns: 6 points
40+ Receiving Yard TD Bonus: 4 points
50+ Receiving Yard TD Bonus: 5 points
100-199 Receiving Yards Bonus: 10 points
200+ Receiving Yards Bonus: 15 points
Kickoff and Punt Return Yards: 1 point per 25 yards
Kickoff and Punt Return Touchdowns: 6 points
Fumble Recovered for TD 6 points
Fumbles Lost: -3 points
Fumble: -1 point
2-Point Conversions: 2 points

Stafford has been fantastic. Before the weekend, I traded Romo + 12th rounder next year for Brady + 3rd.
