I benched Zac Stacy but he's looking like a good pickup if he's still available in your leagues. Decent RB2/flex. Not great, but any RB that can get close to double digits is almost a must start these days.

I drafted high on RBs with 5 and I'm currently hurting for a solid RB2/flex.

Draft:
Jamal Charles
David Wilson
Lamar Miller
Joique Bell
Ben Tate

Dropped Ben Tate before this weeks games, of course he gets into the endzone. Lamar Miller is a bust, David Wilson my #2 pick is done for the most part and time to drop him.

RG3 continues to not produce

RB's seem to be in very short supply. I've got Stafford sitting on the bench and you would think I would be able to trade him for a half way decent RB...nope.

They always are which is why focusing on them in the draft is a solid strategy. This year is worse than most it seems though. Many of the top 10 RB pre-draft ratings aren't doing much at all.

Speaking of RB's, what would you do here:

Drop Murray? Or bench him and hope the 4-6 weeks they say he'll be out is accurate?

I also have: Moreno, Gore and Bush. So for now, holding Murray is viable, barring any injuries to those guys too.

The only options out there for me to replace Murray are: Stacy, Ellington, Thomas, Tolbert, M.J.D.

I wouldn't drop him at all. Play for the playoffs, which is when he'll be there for you. Provided you're not totally desperate of course. You're pretty stacked at RB unless you need to pick up somebody for a bye week broski.

Oh I can admit when I am wrong and I was DEAD WRONG on the Tampa Defense this week. Nick Foles smoked them and DJax had a great game. Nick Foles needs to be picked up.

I also thought Russell Wilson would be a top 12 QB but was off the mark on that.

Don't drop Murray. Knowshon Moreno is a legit #1, Frank Gore & Reggie Bush are nice #2 backs. Murray was looking great until his injury and should come back swinging soon.

There have been some huge busts. Doug Martin & CJ Spiller need to be traded off for Quarters on the dollar. Chris Johnson's value is super low, I have already washed my hands of him in every league but if you can stash him he has a good 2nd half schedule. If Trent Richardson lays a dud tonight he needs to ride the pine untill he proves he has value. I would still hold on to Ray Rice if possible, he could be playing good around playoff time.

In 3 of my leagues I had a back end draft position (9,11,10) and ended up getting Marshawn Lynch in all of them which is looking like a solid move on my part with all these busts.

Nah, you're not desperate. MCL injuries aren't fun, but they aren't season-ending either. You have enough great RBs there that you can ride this out.

Oh and I just saw that Jets RB Mike Goodson tore his ACL. He wasn't really a fantasy option to begin with, but that does help make Bilal Powell and Chris Ivory more relevant.

Yeah that is so rough for the dude. He was actually looking good and gets a bad break. Bilal Powell needs to be owned, Rex Ryan clearly likes him. Not a high ceiling but a solid bye week fill in. If you have room on the bench Chris Ivory is decent stash.

You can drop Wilson, he may even be out for the season. I still don't like Ben Tate, the Texans are a complete mess right now and Arian Foster is still by far the better back. Joqiue Bell is awfully close to be droppable, keep an eye on his injury status.

Brandon Jacobs is going to fly off quick but I doubt he will repeat that performance from last game. Roy Helu is an interesting pickup, he was running hard last night and may be a decent flex option. Chris Ogbonnaya is also a decent pickup as Willis McGahee is just not looking good. Khiry Robinson was looking good ( Chris Ivory 2.0) but its just too iffy to trust him yet as Ingram should be back soon, is nothing but a stash with the upcoming bye week.

So last week I picked up Justin Blackmon for his first game back but dropped him that Sunday morning for Zac Stacy instead since my running backs are shit. Blackmon had big game and I was like damn made the wrong there. Managed to pick up Blackmon off waivers last Wednesday dropping Edelman in the process. Put Blackmon in as flex with Bryant and Welker as my starting receivers . If Blackmon keeps putting up 10+ I'll be a happy camper. Now if I could figure out my disappointing RB situation

I'm holding onto Bell because when Reggie is out he explodes. His injury is thought to be minimal. Thanks for the tips. Every person in our league pays close attention and any decent sniff of a RB is snatched up right quick on waivers.

you have a poor RB situation but you are dropping solid WRs? Don't carry two TEs or defenses and you can probably drop your backup QB

Unless it's a 2 QB league you can roll with one QB. There is so much depth at the position it's easy to pick up somebody to fill in for a bye.

Look at what Andy Dalton did this last week.

Two tightends because of Gronk, who I'm getting kinda tired of waiting on. Only 1 defense. I do have 2 quarterbacks only because the other eleven teams have two as well and the best guy available on waivers is a toss up between Glennon or Weeden. Edelman still sitting as a free agent but I'm sure as soon as the guy who still has Julio logs in that will change

who are your QBs? bye weeks? if everyone else has two, they aren't picking up a third

I don't know. If you have a solid team and a deep bench I could see people picking up a third QB. I am contemplating picking up Nick Foles and I already have Rivers & Pryor. My team is stacked and I have the bye week positions already locked up. I did not like what I saw out of Miles Austin yesterday so I may drop him.

I dropped Austin for Williams last week. I picked Williams up in every league. I think he will fully take on WR#2 soon. Austin has a bad hamstring for over two years now and it is not getting any better.

I told my friend to pick up Foles last week for a fill in. If Foles starts, he would be a good play.

That's a complete waste though

Thanks for the DeMarco Murray advice, guys. I'll bench him for now. I'm in good shape for playoffs if I can keep my current momentum going. I hated to see Murray get hurt, because, speaking of momentum, it looked like he was gaining his.

I sorta expected him to get injured at some point, given his history. I was just hoping it would be later rather than sooner.

Although the current word coming out of Dallas is he MIGHT only miss two games because of this, so maybe his MRI showed good news. Crossing fingers!

Because I don't like my week 8 QB options with San Diego on bye and Pryor has proven to be at least ok. Yes he just had a bad game but it was on the road against the best defense in the nfl. Plus passing tds are 4 points, I could just go grab Eli Manning again but I really don't want to after he burned me week 3 :p

Frankly I am not really that worried, I could roll with Brandon Weeden week 8 and probably be ok. I'm facing the same team that I am going up against this week and I am slaughtering him
