Yea...need to go shopping.

I need to pick up another RB but there isn't a ton of people out there. Any sleepers out there?

Post a list of available RBs if you can, sorted by week 7 projections.

The one RB I really liked as a sleeper - Mike Goodson - got injured.
I have a couple more RBs I'm interested out of necessity, but availability varies from league to league.

Should I put Terrance Williams in for Reggie Wayne? My last player and down by about 20. I could hope for Romo to throw a bunch. I don't see Luck throwing a ton as the Colts are trying to run more it seems.

That's a tough call. My gut says yes to Wayne since SD's pass coverage is twice as bad as its run defense, but the run defense is still bad so the Colts will probably run it a lot. The counterargument is that the Redskins' secondary is just as bad as the Colts. Also affecting the decision is that Wayne is the top target and Williams will be at least 3rd.

Jonathan Stewart is my sleeper. Although Tolbert did great today, he's more of a goalline/jumbo back. DeAngelo Williams is playing well however, so not sure what Rivera and the Panthers are going to do with Stewart but I'm sure he'll take snaps away from Williams when he's back next week or the next. Additionally, Carolina sports the 2nd best Run Block in the NFL so anyone with a lick of talent is going to succeed in that offense, esp with Cam Newton's legs.

I'm looking at Stewart, too. You can never completely trust him because of injury, unfortunately, and Tolbert is the perennial TD vulture.

This Dallas versus Washington game is nerve wracking. I'm down 1 point. He has Tony Romo. I have Dez Bryant and Dan Bailey (Dallas Kicker). Neither of us have anyone playing tomorrow.

So, what do you guys think of an SJackson for Megatron deal? I lost Cobb today, and it could be serious. SJax has a relatively crappy offensive line and a tough schedule coming up against run defenses but will be back next week. Megatron has a relatively easy schedule, but of course he's an unknown due to whatever injury he has. Both can bust out at any time.

I doubt you would be able to sling that trade unless that team completely desperate at running back. Calvin Johnson is still Calvin Johnson no matter what his last couple games have been

Who would trade one of (if not) the most dominating receiver in the game for an oft (and currently injured) RB on the wrong side of his career on a team that has a ton of issues offensively? Calvin has had knee issues for 3+ years and he typically plays through most of it.

Lost by 1 point. Second time this season that's happened. I fall to 1-5.

Why did i play the Texas defense! (- 1 points)

It was a flukey game. Nobody thought that the Rams would march into Houston and dominate the game.

I started the Vikings defense (-3 points) but still won handily thanks to Vincent Jackson and AJ Green.

Man, fuck the Vikings. They suck. I'm not even playing their defense against the Giants next week. Eli's going to look like old Eli against them.

And if the Texans play the way they did today at Arrowhead Stadium next week the Kansas City D/ST could put up record breaking fantasy numbers

Yeah. I feel like I've angered the football gods this year though. My team isn't great but it's not as bad as my record indicates. My team has the most points against by almost 100 over the next closest. It seems whoever I play in a given week one of his guys will have a career game and put up a totally unexpected 25-30 pts. I'm 6-0 in another league though :D

They are pretty desperate at RB for some reason and they have L.Bell, Bernard, and DMC. But their receivers are megatron, dez, blackmon, and gordon so they are shopping Calvin around. They proposed calvin+wallace for moreno/v.brown but I'm going to veto that, not giving up moreno at this point. My only concern is that I don't have much beyond moreno and richardson (wilson, stewart who are both out+unknowns) so week 8 will tough with the byes at RB2. However, if Cobb is out then I'm down a WR1. So it's really a matter of WR1 vs RB2 who I can always find a semi decent sub for 1 week, such as Ogbannaya or Tolbert. All in all, SJax adds some nice RB flexibility that I didn't have before which would be cost of picking up Calvin. My WR2 and WR3 are S.Smith and V.Brown FWIW.

I picked among the 2 worst QBs in Eli Manning and Matt Schaub. Thinking of dropping 1 or both, I'm in a 2 QB league. The available QBs are Chad Henne, Brandon Weeden, Thaddeus Lewis, Josh Freeman, Carson Palmer, Yates, Mike Glennon. Not much too choose from, I know.

Prob Palmer or Glennon.. No Nick Foles available?

SJax has only missed 13 games in his 9 year career prior to this year. That's dam good. Obviously he's not a spring chicken but he was ranked the #11 RB in the draft this year (15th overall), ahead of guys like Forte and Gore. Calvin was the 10th overall for comparison, and since RBs are more scarce I'm inclined to say it'd be a semi-fair trade other than the fact that the Falcons have lost weapons. I'll see if he bites.

You can drop Matt Schaub obviously but you may be forced to keep Eli Manning as none of those QBs are better. Even though he is sucking he does have some nice matchups coming up against the Eagles and Vikings. You may want to take a gamble on Josh Freeman but I would not expect anything too great from him until possibly week 10

Foles would be a decent choice considering upcoming games would be weak on Pass D (Dallas, NYG, Oakland, GB, Skins, Cards). Dallas is closest to the league average though @-6.5 of the bunch.

You can't trust Glennon yet. He has had one good game against the worst pass defense. And Carson Palmer has such a low ceiling and except for a couple ok games has been brutual. Brandon "Dan Marino" Weeden has had a better average than Carson Palmer.

You really want to be starting Carson Palmer vs. Seattle over Eli Manning vs. Minnesota?

Made a gameday call and started Ridley this week... He came through big time, and what a game that was.
