If anyone here is still up:

Take James Jones or Terrance Williams first in waivers?

Need to patch up this hole Julio left in my heart and my team.

James Jones easily, he has far more trade value as well. For example, in my workplace league I picked Jones up as a Free Agent after his zero-points Week 1 performance. Traded him on Sunday for TE Jordan Cameron (whose owner just lost Julio). Getting Jordan Cameron freed up my original TE Jason Witten to trade to the owner who just lost Owens Daniels. Combined Witten with another FA pickup (Willis McGahee) to pull off a trade this morning for SJax and Sidney Rice.

In short, two FA pickups allowed me to upgrade Witten to Cameron and McGahee to SJax.

Sweet trades, man. Good job.

In the end, I went with Williams, and here's why:

In my league I've seen certain patterns with how people use the Waiver Wire. Essentially it boils down to people going after the hot week producer (Williams for example), versus the potentially steady, but may have a few bad weeks, producer (Jones).

So as of this morning I dropped Boldin for Williams, and when I checked, Jones was still there.

I think Williams may be better insurance for me this week if Austin is out. If Williams has a great game again this week, then I can use him as trade bait next week.

I will scoop up James Jones (although T.Y. Hilton is out there too. I've gotta look into him, I don't know too much about him) as soon as they 100% confirm that Julio is out for the season.

I wish I played against retards.

can you play in my leagues?

He is up and down. I just have him sitting there as the 4th RB on my team, never getting played. I do not need him in a few leagues as my RBs are strong, but the one where I am weak at RB, I still have him. Nothing is better on the WW.

Stacy is still sitting for the taking in my league and there are a couple of people who could use the RB help. Not sure why he's not being grabbed up.

I can't really see dropping Gore, Murray, Bush or Moreno for him, or I'd pick Stacy up.

Your second sentence seeems pretty spot-on. Plus it doesn't seem like the Rams are going anywhere this year and no one but Bradford as a QB2 is worth picking up. I bet a lot of the other owners are in similar situations. Why drop someone and waste the waiver wire spot or FAAB budget just to make a lateral move at best talent-wise?

Gotta love free ESPN leagues (sarcasm).

NO traded Blair Walsh, Min to BARN
BARN traded Tom Brady, NE to NO

That trade actually went through. I vetoed, but obviously not enough other people did.

That is an awful trade.

Who has scored more points this year?

Terrance Williams' fantasy value could sink - Miles Austin is back at practice. Might still be worth a stash if you can afford the bench space since Austin has glass hamstrings.

My bench space is tight since I'm losing Julio, and Megatron has a question mark right now. Calvin should play this week though.

Looking at James Jones if Julio is 100% ruled out (which is likely of course), but what do you guys know/think about T.Y. Hilton and Percy Harvin? Both are available. I don't really know much about either, other than Harvin's been out with a hip injury and is slated to possibly be back soon.

TY is the easy #2 on that team and benefits from Wayne getting double coverage. Harvin will be #1 for the Seahawks once he is in game-shape, but they're still a run-first offense and have Wilson as their QB vs. Luck for Hilton.

Pretty much. TY is the better play now and probably for at least the next 4-6 weeks. If you have the patience to wait out Harvin getting fully back into football shape, he may give you bigger boost in the playoffs however (presuming you make the playoff team cut).

I was able to snatch up Charles Clay to replace Owen Daniels (Julius Thomas is my starter) and Zac Stacy without using a waiver claim in a league which is surprising. I tend to burn through waiver claims which many times I probably don't need to.

I had to drop James Jones in a league which sucks cause I really like him. However it was to keep Danny Amendola on my roster and I have high hopes for Amendola as the Patriots really need him to step up.

What is the general consensus on Moreno? I have him as a backup in a 12-team league (keeper + auction) where my starters are Peterson and Forte. My QB is Matt Ryan and with the Julio Jones news, Roddy White's inability to stay healthy, lack of run game, etc. I'd like to move him.

The guy who owns Aaron Rodgers inquired about Moreno today. I'm thinking about offering him along with Ryan for Rodgers and maybe ask him to throw in something like Ben Tate. On a trade value chart it looks like a pretty even trade. But of course Rodgers carries brand power.

Would you guys make this offer? FYI, normal scoring applies here though QB's only get 4 for passing tds.

That CBS trade value chart is not very good imo. I would not bother with Ben Tate, for the past 2 years people have been riding the whole Tate/Foster handcuff and it has yet to happen. Ben Tate is no Arian Foster period. I am not as down on Matt Ryan as everyone else is, I think he will still be a top 12 QB from here on out.

If I were him I don't know if I would take the deal even without you asking to have Tate be included. If anything, you might want to include a sweetener, not him.

I've made some mistakes being impatient with my team early on, like an idiot ignoring some of my own advice and predictions (this is a a PPR team, and I dropped Danny Woodhead, TY Hilton, and Kendall Wright), but I think I have a shot to turn around my 1-4 team this week with Gronk hopefully playing. Upgrading my QBs has been a no-go thus far (no chance of a fair trade thus far, though I've tried), but otherwise I think I'm at least okay at other positions.

Any other thoughts on my team would be appreciated. In the abundance of counselors there is victory. :)

If I owned Aaron Rodgers I would not trade him for Moreno and Ryan. I don't want Matt Ryan as my starting QB. He's going on bye this week, and when he returns he will be minus one (possibly both) of his top WRs.

If I had Rodgers and was really desperate at RB (say I had drafted MJD and Wilson), I might accept Moreno + Rivers, or Moreno + Romo for him. Ryan is too sketchy for me to want to start.

The other thing factoring into Aaron Rodgers' value is that he's already had his bye week. Not having to worry about your QB for the rest of the season is nice.

It's hard to know what you should do without seeing who is available. I see Simpson, Goodson, and Donald Brown as very weak players that should be the first to go if someone else is available, but I'm not sure who you can actually get. I mean, I see a lot of teams that are holding onto one week wonders like Eddie Royal when there are much better players available on waivers. But maybe your waivers are picked clean and those really are the best available players for you.

Man how long did you wait to draft a QB?

By the looks of your team its going to be a long shot at making the playoffs. At 1-4 you are going to need to shake some things up to start winning now. I would drop Percy Harvin and take a gamble on the waiver wire with a handcuff like Bryce Brown or someone with upside potential like Kennan Allen. You may even want to take a gamble on Josh Freeman.

Either drop David Wilson or try to shop him if possible.

Gronk is going to be a huge boom or bust for you. I doubt he would be worth much in a trade right now but he runs of big risk of playing like crap Sunday and his value will plummet.

You might even want to make a trade for C.J. Spiller, you don't have much to lose and he could turn things around.

Looking to possibly trade with a desperate team...

I want Calvin Johnson...

I was thinking about offering him Gronk or Cameron and another WR (WR2/3) to make it even points wise...

Which would you offer from a TE perspective? Gronk or Cameron?

Yeah, not sure why Crono waited so long in that league - but thanks for Woodhead!

Any interest in Dalton? heh
