Also, don't forget regarding Quizz that Steven Jackson will be back in < 2 weeks so he really doesn't add much value after next week.

That's what I've been telling people. Quizz and Snelling are going to drop to handcuff status and are desperation flex plays this week against a tough defense. Week 6 bye, week 7 SJax. May as well drop them for a flyer.

If Andre Ellington isn't owned in your league, get him. Also Brandon Bolden, who will only improve as his knee heals up (looking like the new Shane Vereen). Marcel Reece may be the only game in town if Rashad Jennings' hamstring injury from last night is serious, and DMC won't be back for a few more weeks.

Rough week for me. Had Vick, D. Wilson and Jennings all in my starting lineup.

I fell for the Jennings hype as well though I did not start him in any league. I guess I forgot how Jennings looked last year when he came in for MJD in Jacksonville.

At this point in the season it is pretty hard to find any running backs on the waiver wire that are better than a flex. I am very close to dumping David Wilson but frankly there is nobody else available right now. I am struggling to find a good #2 RB in my 10 team ppr league but luckily Eddie Lacy is starting to look like a good option.

Pierre Thomas had a good game and is owned in less than half of yahoo leagues but it is hard to trust anyone not named Sproles in the Saints backfield.

I'm dead for the week, started Lamar Miller and i'm down 2 pts. He has Gonzo and i have the jets TE. Only a miracle will save me. Can't catch a breaking in FF

In Jags news, LT Luke Joekel out for year with broken ankle. And since the Jags just traded away Monroe a few days ago, makes you wonder who will play the spot from here on out. I guess it sucks to be you if you own MJD, though.

MJD was straight dropped in 2 of my leagues last week. I don't think MJD is even worth stashing on a bench at this point.

It wasn't falling for any hype, the guy had 40 yards in the first half, he was on pace for 80-100 yards. You can't predict injuries, that's a part of FF. Shit, I had McCoy and DMC last week who were both injured and came out of the game. The week before Stephen Hill got knocked out on the 2nd play. All of them lost me the week. /shrug

At this point I'm cutting MJD for any warm body. You can't start him unless you're totally desperate and you can't trade him for anything but an equally unimpressive player.

I bet no one picks him up if you drop him either.

I dropped him week three. One guy picked him up and played him week 4, then dropped him. His wife picked him up to play week 5. I bet she'll be dropping him now too.

Dropped him last week, and someone snatched him up (lol). This is in a 10 team league as well.

OK, so the guy that I played this week, and offered the Rivers for C Johnson trade is obviously afk for the season--he had 4 bye weeks starting...

Anyhoo, I'm playing one of the league leaders next week. He's got Russell Wilson and Demarius Thomas, Brandon Marshall. I'm going to see if he laughs at Rivers for Thomas... (His RBs: Peterson, B Powell)

I'd hate to have a Peyton vs Thomas situation going on this week, especially when Denver is playing the Jags....

In 2 QB leagues, likely yes. With Pryor out for a bit, he was likely starting on quite a few of those rosters.

Oh man, people still do that?

We tried that once--our first league--and it sucked ass. Mainly because it was not week-to-week, so it was total points scored, and one boob had the temerity to draft P Manning and D McNabb with his top two picks--this, the year Manning set his TD records and embarrassed the rest of the league. If you recall, McNabb also had a fantastic season that year. I think we also scored passing yards the same as running yards, and had some sort of scoring for completions.

Needless to say, that was our learning year. :D

With Mathews suffering a concussion, and not really doing anything so far this season, should I drop him or drop someone else? My other RBs are Spiller, Powell, Mcgahee, Mendenhall, and Zac Stacy. I'll be 2nd or 3rd in the waiver order this week and I want to either acquire Terrance Williams, Blackmon, or reacquire TY Hilton who I dropped two weeks ago. Or maybe a RB? any suggestions there. 12 team league so not much available.

My receivers are Dez, Welker, and Edelman with Gronk and Finley at TE. I'm going to try and trade Finley this week though.

I've been picking up RB like crazy trying to get lightening in a bottle since all of them have been so inconsistent, except for Powell.

In addition to the above I have Kaep and Wilson at quarterback.

Here's a guys roster I would like to trade with, he has 3 pretty good running backs. Not sure what to offer for one of the RBs though
Stafford, Cutler
Lynch, Forte, Murray, Woodhead
Julio Jones, Mike Wallace, Kenbrell Thompkins, Steve Johnson
J. Cook, Winslow

2QB can be fun if you don't go crazy with the scoring. Forces depth at the position and gives QBs actual trade value.

If you load up on QBs you can have a broken team, but that's no different from getting lucky with your top picks in a standard league.

I just wanted to post this to brag about my awesome win. lol

You really did nothing really risky there other than start T.Williams over Edelman. So you get credit for that, but the rest of the moves were stat quo. And you probably didn't start Edelman b/c of Amendola (stat quo), because you would have started him regardless since Cincy's secondary was missing one of its key playmakers who would cover Edelman and much of the rest of Cincy's secondary were banged up (not many people knew that). Edelman actually should have had a lot more points but kept dropping passes (including a TD) due to the heavy rain. You got lucky, grats.
