I won this week
me: 113.52
him: 113.40

stat corrections looming

Yep. You haven't won yet.

There was a year where in the playoffs I was down 1.4 points. We were done except he had a defense starting for Monday night. He figured he should bench his defense because of the possibility of negative points. Seemed like a smart move. After Monday's game he was still winning.

Stat correction on Tuesday gave me the win. If he started his D instead of leaving the slot empty he would have been fine.

Who are you guys looking at on the waiver wire for a possible sneaky Flex play next week? Some ones I'm looking at who performed well are Woodhead, B.Brown (dropped in both leagues for some reason) as a stash, Nate Washington, Stephen Hill or Santonio Holmes.

Who the hell plays without fractional points?

It's the default on ESPN leagues.

I prefer fractional scoring because it essentially eliminates ties, but I can see the argument for it. It makes everything cleaner and simpler, and you can easily say "I need 12 points to win" instead of "I need 11.78 points to win" or whatever.

Fractional are great. But I'm loving the negative points we have. -6 for all fumbles lost. Nothing for a fumble. -3 for every fg missed and -1 for PAT missed.

That way if u were up 2 a kicker can kill u or fumble.

I lost week 1 due to pettigrews one catch and fumble. Pissed but I like the system, adds some fun to it. David Wilson burned people.

Nah. I made the call.

I gambled and lost. who would think the browns would do what they're doing? Nobody.

"ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on SportsCenter Monday the Browns are listening to and receiving trade offers for Josh Gordon.
Browns management isn't interested in competing this season, and Gordon is one strike away from a one-year suspension. So they're trying to "sell high," a strategy with which fantasy footballers are quite familiar. Gordon dominated in Sunday's win over the Vikings, racking up 146 yards and a touchdown on 19 targets. 19 targets suggests the Browns were showcasing Gordon, and he could be on the move as soon as this week. Schefter made it clear the Browns won't trade Gordon unless a team meets their asking price, but they already have at least one offer on the table. "There already is a team that has made an active offer for Josh Gordon," said Schefter. "

This is the shit that would be nice to know before dropping someone.

My wife told me about that Saturday. I don't know when the trade rumors about him were circulating.

So much for Vikings being the defense to play last week.

Gordon is one of two offensive talents on that team. Why would you drop him after he comes back from suspension?

Still got me decent fantasy points thanks to all the fumble recoveries and interceptions.

Nathan Zegura said Josh Gordon could easily be a top ten WR this season. Pick him up if you can, a SOLID must start WR2.

I'm a freaking IDIOT! I'll pick him back up for 11 out of 100 waiver bucks. My league pays attention and I'll have to spend to get him back. And then get to hear them tell me what an idiot I am.

Then I can rub their face in it and say "you don't have any running backs you can play, let's trade one of my 5 for a top 15 WR"

Then I'll have
WR1 Fitz
WR2 <top 15 WR>
WR3 Josh Gordon
Flex - Gronkowski

Brandon Bolden, Danny Woodhead, Kendall Wright, Bilal Powell

It depends on who is available.

And I lose on a Darren McFadden touchdown pass.

What the fuck

I had Moreno vs McFadden left with me down by six. There was hope after Seattle benched Lynch (my first round pick) and half their defense (my seventh round pick) which screwed me in the process. I did not take my time to draft a team to watch week three be played like week 17 due to the Jags being the worst team in the NFL. I will go 3-1 this week with the loss in this league dropping me to 1-2 and I don't even care about this team at all now. Am I supposed to look at their matchup and know if Seattle is going to blow their opponent out badly (amazing defense) every week to a point of not playing my first and seventh round picks? No thanks.

I will focus on the three other leagues I am in.

Going 0-2 this week. One of my teams just plain sucked this week. The other was the second highest scoring team and unfortunate enough to be playing the highest scoring team.
