I traded Eddie Royal and Bernard Pierce for Matthew Stafford and then turned around and traded James Jones for Roddie White

Pretty pumped with that. I have Jordy Nelson so I didn't need James Jones and the I can afford to be patient with White and hope he goes back to his monster self before too much longer

I'm in a bind as well. I need a flex. PPR as well

garcon, dez fitz and charles and Joique Bell being my backs. I need a flex.

In order how i rank them.
- James Jones
- Lamar Miller
- Greg Jennings
- Eddie Royal
- Montee Ball

I'm tempted to a little gutsy and try Royal out. Miller and Jones is my biggest coin flip. Jones had a 0 game week 1 and a 10 catch, 100 yard game in week2.

I would go with the hot hand and plug Eddie Royal in. I am anxious to try him out myself in a couple leagues but he is not a better option at the moment.

Not bad at all, I love trading waiver wire pickups for good drafted picks and I'm assuming Stafford is a nice upgrade for you.

I could of went for a GREAT trade but people vetoed me.

Royal/J. Bell/ James Jones for Gore/ Amedola.

I'm solid at the WR core so i didn't need to play Amedola til late in the season. I still dont see why people Vetoed this but w/e. 2 wavier wire picks for 2 great draft picks.

Are you in a league with people you know, or just an online league.

Our Commish is my gf's brother, and he has a very strict, "If you veto a trade, you have to explain to him why you veto voted" rule. He doesn't allow just, "Well, I don't like it. It'll make so and so stronger.".

It has to be something like collusion for a veto to stand. Otherwise he overrides it.

I don't see any reason for your trade to be vetoed.

Le'Veon Bell is on waivers. I don't know anything about him. Is he worth a pick up? I know he's got the foot issue, but he looks to be back either this week or next.

He is on the Steelers though, and they are just a joke at the moment.

Some are pretty i know and some are people i know off/thru other people. We picked up 3 last minute guys cause people dropped out. This is a sub $100 league.

I dont see why a veto was to come, on the surface a guy giving up gore/amdeola looks like he is trading away his team. While i'm getting those two key guys and i'm coming up on top, i'm not stealing anything from anyone. As of right now its a fair trade, going forward it might not be. I let it be.

Commish changed the rules for week4 and going forward to that similar to what you say, you have to speak as to why you want this vetoed. I asked people to speak up as to why it was vetoed, * crickets* LOL. In some cases I can aruge i'm giving up too much. Gore's sub-par performance and injury prone player for 3 guys performing great.

It got vetoed TWICE. I gave up on it. Little pissed because i COULD have an insane team going into the playoffs (if all went well). 12 man PPR with dez,fitz,garcon, Charles and gore as the backs and amdeola/lamar miller/Monte Ball as my flex. I currently have a good TE tho in pettigrew but it would of been a MONSTER team.

Guy with gore needs a WR bad so he is going after Wes now.

Him and Heath Miller normally would be pickups but yea steelers are a JOKE! I dont put them much better then the Jags.

I would grab him if i was like 8 or higher on the waviers. Not worth to me anyways.

we did defense for the first year and hated it--started an IDP league a few games into that same season and that is the format we stayed with.

It can be tough to draft, but at the very least it creates a really nice free agency pool the first few weeks of the season, so it keeps you active.

wtf kind of leagues are you in? These trades are ridiculous! The Jones for Roddy kind of makes sense, but what fucking idiot trades away a solid QB for a dime a dozen WR and a backup RB?

He wanted Eddie Royal, what can I say. And Bernard Pierce is good since Ray Rice is out. Who is to say he doesn't miss more time?

I really dont necessarily think so. The browns have an offensive line. The steelers, well, don't. However there is this whole overwhelming feeling that the browns are tanking the season. But if we know anything about mcgahee, we know he'll run hard nomatter what.

I hear ya Slayer, maybe I'll be eating some crow, maybe not. It's likely that Pierce outperforms McGahee, but in a week or two Rice will be back. At that point, I'd be screwed with Pierce, but still have a starting RB in McGahee.

It's not the hand I wanna be playing, but it's the best way I've got to play it, for now.
