In one league I was pretty loaded with RBs having Spiller, Jackson, Bush, and Wilson so I traded Bush for Graham. Now that Wilson's career is over I guess it's not so good anymore.

Does anyone think Wilson will be back at some point this season? Or is he a drop?

Well, simply having Peyton your team is no recipe for success--as the rest of my team completely blows (I suspected this, as I wasn't really happy drafting Spiller with my first pic--10 overall)

Went into yesterday with a 30 point lead (he has Demaryius Thomas), and got crushed by Kaepernick, Boldin, and, well, Thomas. His David Wilson sure fumbled his way into my heart, but it was way too little, way too late. :(

Sucks, because I thought he had the best team in the league going in (Rice is his #1, and of course Wilson had high stock up until last night) and after Peyton's big night, I felt it was the best chance for anyone to beat him. Oh well...

It would be rash to even consider dropping Wilson, Some owners did that early last year, and it was a big mistake. The bad news is Wilson might have pissed off Coughlin enough that he doesn't see playing time for a while or as much, but the Giants don't have a lot of options. Ahmad Bradshaw had a similar experience more than once, too, as Coughlin takes ball security very seriously.

I would pick up Da'rel Scott, though, as insurance. He's not an untalented runner, he just hasn't had a lot of playing time or as much confidence from the Giants coaches as those above him in the depth chart until this point. Wth Andre Brown sidelined for a few weeks, it's not a bad pickup.

It might be a good time to pick up Wilson for cheap via trade. Week 1 is usually a bit crazy, and it's not until Weeks 3 and 4 that you can get an idea, generally, of how players might do for the rest of the season.

Unless there's someone obviously much better that you can grab and need his roster spot, I'd hang on. Pass blocking can be coached and improved and his two fumbles back to back were probably a huge fluke. Last season he had 71 attempts, 5.0 average, 4 TDs, and 1 fumble.

morris will have a hall of fame performance. so will rg3.

Yes, the broken leg in game 1 of his sophomore season will definitely get a kiosk with a photo in Canton, that's for sure.

(of course, I absolutely hope that doesn't happen....just saying, be careful what you wish for. :D)

Something is up with that 1 fumble. *I SWEAR* he had more than that last year. I remember his first game out he had a terrible fumble and that earned him the bench for 2/3 of the remainder of the season. It wasn't until Brown broke his leg (last year) that he started getting more carries. Plus I thought he put it on the ground a bunch this preseason too?

I still have problems with him as an RB 1. If NY had any other option they'd go that guy as a goal line back. Wilson is only effective on the edge. NY had a 1st & goal on the 1 yard line and couldn't punch it in.

It's likely they bring in a veteran back for the short term.
The problem with both Wilson and Scott is they are both fast, smaller guys compared to Brown. You don't need bigger backs for goal line duty, but for situations where you need to push the pile, it certainly helps as an option. It's too bad Brandon Jacobs isn't still on the team. That dude was built like a tank.

EDIT: and apparently I'm not far off.

Fuck me. My only QB in RG3 has -3 points so far.

Andy Dalton, you're about to get drafted. Or I'll trade one of my RBs for a QB, but damn I can't stand, nay won't, trading away a RB. All of mine are startable.

Time to find somebody reaching at WR with a QB they won't use but for one bye week. I knew I'd be weak for the first two weeks, but this hurts. Oh well, I drafted for the playoffs so I'm not surprised. but a lot of teams got burned hard in week 1.

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports Shane Vereen is undergoing wrist surgery on Monday and will miss "a few weeks."

NOOOOOOOOOO

Don't drop him. He should have been your Rb 3/4.

Week one was all kinds of fuvked up. Bit it's just week one.

Jesus Hume...Needed 31 points to win. RG3 wakes up the 2nd half and puts up 23 points combined with McCoy's 24. Wow. Did not expect that at the end of the 1st half of this game.

Fuck you, Pierre Garcon.

Wow. So much for.

WEEK ONE!

Guys you drafted them for a reason! And that is for production over the season. Especially at WR I got burned hard this week. But I'm not dropping anybody.

Garçon is a stud.

I'm not dropping anyone either at this point. My team played well. Just got burned by Julius Thomas and Victor Cruz.

No you didn't. They weren't on your team?

I started Wilson and Lamar miller. They were to be studs. They produced nothing. But I can't let them go. It's just week one. Been a wonky one.

Other than the obvious waivers to chase, I think Daniel Thomas would be a great pickup as he should see more and more snaps if he keeps producing. What other players that didn't necessarily have huge weeks will be worth grabbing? Maybe Julian Edelman as well although I don't think I'm willing to drop Eric Decker or Antonio Brown yet.

I have Wilson too. Given how Coughlin is happy to bench even starters, I'm severely worried that he'll get maybe one more chance tops before they sign a veteran. If that.. McGahee or Turner maybe?

Well I guess we found out who Rivers favorite target is. Eddie Royal will be hot on the waiver wire.

Oh and thank you Owen Daniels for finishing up my monster win for the week

Fvck me. One of my teams lost by 2 points to the team with Payton Manning and his 53.79 points. And the guy who put him over the top was Philip Rivers. Ugh.
