James Jones dropped to waivers in one league and I would like to pick him up. However due to league rules I would be forced to drop 2 WR to pick him up.

Reason is because we can only have 4 WR max but I have Amendola in my IR slot. Because Amendola was just listed as doubtful I am technically at 5 WR and it won't allow me to make any transactions until I get down to 4. Plus if I take Amendola out of IR I won't be able to stick him back in this week.

My WR are:

Vincent Jackson
Pierre Garcon
Josh Gordon
Santonio Holmes
Danny Amendola

What site can u out in these rules? I kinda like leagues with crazy rules.

Dude are you f-ing kidding me? You get 150 yards and a TD from a RB2 and you're complaining? Between this and the bullshit hindsight posts, you are starting to look like a fool.

It's ok, I find it annoying that he got 20 carries and not more. Yes, I am complaining when the RB is very capable of doing more except the coaching staff just does something else for an entire quarter because they are winning. Did Hunter fumble the football which led to a Rams touchdown? Yeah, I think he did.

Are you upset with me saying:

T. Richardson and Spiller were overvalued this year?
I thought R. White was injury prone? (I admitted I was wrong and stood by the other two I picked out.)
Upset that Lynch was benched halfway through the third along with the Seattle defense in week 3?
I thought Tampa Bay was as bad as Jacksonville this year (said in the NFL thread a week or two ago)?

If you don't like my opinion, then please bypass what is posted.

Fumble was on Kaepernick. Watch the play again. Them benching Gore was smart from the coaches perspective. Coaches aren't playing the game to appease us fantasy football guys.

I didn't get to watch the game, was at work. I saw the fumble charged to Hunter the the Rams scored.

Yeah, just annoyed that he could have done so much more. I'm not as annoyed as I was with Lynch last week though. Seattle benched everyone though.

Bradshaw ruled out. Prepare your bunghole if you go against TRich this week.

They play Jacskonville this week. I would be scared of anyone that faces them, even Richardson. One of the few teams anyone can play well against.

Okay, so did Gore get a fumble or not last night? I never saw him fumble, so I just assumed it happened while I was outside walking my dog.

He couldn't have done more when they are leading by 25 or so points.

You don't leave your starting RB in during garbage time to get a season-ending injury. On top of that, you absolutely must use that opportunity to put in your second string and see what they can do, going forward.

Gore bitched out the coaches for not getting many touches up to this game. They obliged, he got 20 touches, put out 150 some yards and a TD. Production doesn't get much better than that.

I'm "annoyed" because I expected a very close game, largely through the air. As such, I dropped Hunter to free up some space for Flex and RB, when I could have just plugged him in.

In FF it was charged to Hunter? Wow. The ball clearly slipped out of Kaepernick's hands as he was handing it off..

Gore had a fumble as well. Was like a 10 yard gain then stripped from behind on the tackle.

Why the hell is the Minnesota D ranked #1 on PFF this week? In addition, why is NYJ ranked so low (25 or so) on PFF after being ranked 3rd overall and 3rd in sacks. Was debating whether to start Minn, NYJ, or Tennessee this week. I think the Jets have the best D out of the 3 but for some reason Minnesota's DST is highly ranked against Pittsburgh. Maybe because of the forced TO's and Patterson's 105yd TD last week? Still, Big Ben will probably torch that secondary while throwing his usual 2 picks (PFF is projecting 3). Makes no dam sense unless they're thinking that some of those INTs go back for pick 6's.

Wow, Trent Richardson's value has just skyrocketed. Things might start turning around big time for one of my teams.

It's Jacksonville. Everyone should do well against them. The Colts offense should have people resting in the third quarter like the Seahawks did honestly. I would probably start MJD this week as he should get some garbage time numbers.

i would give up lamar miller, jason witten and mike wallace for cj spiller. i still have julius thomas, dez, antonio brown and marques colston.

That's actually an awesome trade. Miller is a pretty low end RB2 in an even timeshare who doesn't get goal line carries. Witten is okay but also doesn't get TDs and has far less upside than Julius, so you're set there, and you have three good WRs already. Spiller is a great buy-low candidate this week. This is where hitting big on sleepers can pay off - gives you depth so you can swing 2-for-1 deals to upgrade your starters into studs.

soooo glad I dropped Hunter this week to grab some other free agents to fill in for James Jones and other flex spots.

just, just...just god damn fucking wonderful.

It's not going to be a regular occurrence. The 49ers don't get to play the Rams defense every week. Hunter is more of a handcuff and will only get you anything if the 49ers get a big lead.

#1 seems too high. I guess because Pittsburgh is also so bad and Minnesota has gotten a lot of turnovers. But Minnesota's D has mostly relied on interceptions and fumbles to get points, which are much less predictable than sacks (only 4 sacks this year). So I am not a super huge fan of the Minnesota defense this week. They'll probably allow a bunch of points too.

Playing fantasy defenses is all about matchups. Jets and Titans play each other and neither one is a very good matchup from a fantasy perspective (although the Jets defense looks legit from a real-life NFL perspective).

I think the hot defenses this week are Kansas City (sack factory vs. the Giants' turnstile O-line), Indy (always fade the Jags), and Cincinnati against the Browns.

You would think Cinci defense would be a good play but I heard on fantasy show an hour ago their secondary is decimated with injuries. It seemed to be pretty fresh news. But what do I know.

The gronkowski/amendola drama keeps going, now the "experts" are reported they will play. Folks will have to wait and see and with the night game it could be tough. In my league I can play Edelmen anywhere I can play Gronk (3 W/T slots, 1 W/R/T slot) so that was my cushion on game time decision. Edelmen or Gronkowski and I could wait till right before game time.

But now that looks to backfire with the possibility of no gronk and Amendola playing which moves Edelmen way down.

Should I start Brady or Ryan this week? Neither one has been impressive as of yet.

Ryan at home for sure. He's a top 10 QB in my standard scoring league 5pt TD, you have funny scoring?

Matt Ryan has won me many championships so I'm a little biased and brady isn't doing jack diddly shit. Until brady's weapons are back you almost can't play him.

Matt Ryan is one of those players you draft for consistency, not huge upside. He's the QB you don't worry about. Brady I would wait until the week after we see Gronk play.

And unless you are in a 2 QB league, I would trade away Brady as soon as he has a very good game or two.

Cincy's front seven has crazy push so Hoyer will have to pass quickly, and the secondary injuries will definitely help him complete passes to Cameron and Gordon. This should lower Cincy's boom a little.

I think the gronk/amendola is pure BS and a mental ruse to fuck with the Falcons (prepare for them or not?? Better study extra to make sure before Sunday!). PFF reported earlier that they weren't playing and I believe that. Otherwise, I really need to get rid of Dobson stat. Edelman will still get his looks though because even when Amendola was healthy he was splitting time.

Another thing fucking with me is the Ray Rice saga. I'm pretty sure he'll start, but who the hell knows now.

Defenses, Minnesota is a huge roll of the die. The secondary did show up to play last week but the pass rush could be better. However, per PFF, the Steelers rotated THREE offensive lineman around which mean their line blows goats and most mid level defenses should be on Big Ben/Leveon Bell quickly. However, my next option, the NYJ, have a bunch of MEN playing up front (3 guys are in the top 5 or 10 on PFF) and tied for 3rd in sacks/3rd overall so they're the safer play even though most analytics like PFF/Rotoworld aren't high on them (which is puzzling to me considering they held Brady to 19-29 completion AT FOXBORO and Doug Martin to 65 yards!). Stop C.Johnson from rushing (like they did with Doug Martin, Spiller&handcuff, and the Pats) and pressure Locker into throwing to Cromartie's side. I really like this matchup better than Minnesota since NYJ sack a good amount and Tennessee has a really shitty offense. I was also looking at TN but the Jets have a huge mismatch at the slot position with Holmes/Kerley, and Geno isn't scared to throw deep against a so so secondary. I have New England but no way in hell am I starting them against Matt Ryan so I'm going to pick up the NYJ and hope they continue to dominate. Ballsy I know, but all of the elite defenses are gone (Cincy, KC, Indy) so I have to roll the dice. This is a must win week for me and no detail can be left without analysis.
