Picked up Matt Cassel because it looks highly likely the Vikings will roll with him on Sunday for the London game against the Steelers. Apparently Christian Ponder has a rib injury, and while it's not serious, it looks like the Vikings might use it as an excuse to test Cassel and see how he plays.

I'm in effectively a 2 QB league and desperate for another QB. Since I have Alex Smith, I'll have a past Chiefs QB and a current one... go me, lol.

I think you are fine. You might want to swap Stafford and RG3 but I would tend to think that if RG3 is to have his breakout game Oakland would be a good candidate. At the very least he has been getting garbage time points.

You might want to consider trading one of your tight ends. Not sure how deep your league is but in a 12 team league you could get a good deal for either one, I'm sure there is someone playing tight end musical chairs every week in the league that would be glad to make a deal.

First of all, ignore all projections, especially if you play on NFL.com. Yahoo and ESPN have slightly more useful projections, but they are not to be trusted. You should look at FantasyPros.com for rankings.

You should pick up KC. Their defense is legit. Minnesota's is not.

Some information about the two defenses:

KC: 15 sacks (most in the NFL), 9 takeaways (third most), 34 points allowed (second fewest)
MIN: 4 sacks (second least), 10 takeaways (second most), 96 points allowed (third most)

So other than the Vikings having one more takeaway, the Chiefs have far and away the better defense.

KC is also up against a Giants team that cannot stop turning the ball over and has a terrible offensive line that allows tons of sacks. Eli Manning is going to get annihilated by the Chiefs' pass rush. And the Chiefs have a very easy schedule until their bye week, which isn't until week 10.

Not only do they have NYG but they also have Oakland twice, Redskins, Bills, Browns and Chargers twice. Only games I would not start KC at this point would be the Broncos ones.

Yeah I doubt you could get Gio for either one straight up if he is looking for a WR. Maybe make some package deal of Edelman & Thomas/Jordan for Gio & someone else. But Edelmans stock has been dropping......

I would not trade Garcon for Gio.

Skip Bowe & Bell. Sproles is only good in ppr, Gordon is interesting but I'm not ready to hop on the train after one good game.

What do you guys think, am I starting the right 3 WR for this week? The two I'm debating between are Broyles and Mike Williams. TB QB situation has me a bit concerned.

Not only do they have NYG but they also have Oakland twice, Redskins, Bills, Browns and Chargers twice. Only games I would not start KC at this point would be the Broncos ones.

Another great thing about them is their bye is in week 10 and they face the Broncos in weeks 11 and 13, so you can easily drop them and then pick them back up later.

Who would have thought people would be fighting over KC defense? Been a weird season.

I'm holding onto two defenses too lol. If I don't hold onto the defense someone will pick them off the WW before I do. I believe most people started to see near the end of last year that if you can pick the right defense you can score 20+ points. Chicago got me 27 points last week in standard league. I was also able to win my entire league last year by picking the right defenses. It seriously helps.

If you have a really good defense (top 3 or so) it makes sense to carry two for those few occasions where a matchup looks bad or for a bye week. Otherwise "streaming" defenses by matchup is a good way to go, freeing up a roster spot. Kickers and defenses can usually be streamed, though with kickers I tend to like going with teams that have bad or mediocre defenses, but can really move the ball. Hence I have the Saints kicker Garrett Hartley in my leagues.

I would say Richardson and Foster at RB. Then Bernard or Thompkins depending on scoring...for flex

That's who I've been playing. Agree on kickers, you can look at matchups/rankings and move them around. We only have 5 bench slots so it would be difficult for me to take an extra spot just for a defense. But you're right, you can't let go of those top ones.

Yes, and pick up Bolden. Especially since you have Ridley.

I'd be tempted to pick up Broyles as well if you had any junk players to toss into the waiver wire. Some of the other players are more tempting for PPR, like Woodhead.

Actually, I'd consider dropping Nate Washington for Broyles, but not necessarily for this week. You don't want to be carrying two Tennessee receivers, anyway, if you can help it.

Nice team.

Only advice is to watch for news about Gronk on Sunday. There's a good chance he plays, and if he is playing I would roll with him versus Bennett.

After the egg Bennett laid last week, I don't blame him for considering a change. Olsen has been consistent, at least.s

I'm gonna have to pass on Olsen though. There's always the chance Gronk won't play, and he'd be my only other TE. I can't start my line up without a TE. Not for the chance to grab Olsen on his bye week because someone dropped him. If it were Ghram or Cameron, then hell yeah, I'd pick em up and take the hit!
