Lexus IS???

Anybody seen this artist's rendition before? A friend of mine e-mailed me the link last night. If this is what the new IS looks like, I think I found my next new car... 😀

EDIT: Changed the post because people seem to be taking me too literally. Yes, I know it's an artist's rendition.

I know, it's an artist's rendition, but renditions this close to the release of a new car are generally pretty accurate (e.g. the artists' renditions of the new 330)

... that's a concept drawing. Look more closely.

It looks hot, and the overall design theme will probably come from that drawing. When they make the concept car, they'll lose of that edginess.

When they're ready to really make it, they'll lop off some more,.

Yeah, I know. It won't have those wheels and it probably won't have the same lower air dam (probably something more speed-bump friendly), but the overall lines of the car, the headlights, grille, etc. just look great.

LOL 😀 Unlike Nissan, Toyota isn't reaching the limits of their new engine yet...it's just been born 😛
The Toyota 3.5 is starting out at 280. 315 doesn't seem to far from reach 😀

but, recent Toyota engine are quite modder-unfriendly, I haven't heard anyone did anything to new toyota engines ever since they introduce vvti --- compare to when modders can pumped out 1000 horsepower from Supra's twinturbo straight 6 or so from MR2's 2.0 4banger.
I am guessing the new Toyota V6's cannot be force-induced OR even tuned for more horsepower.
Yes, 315hp is not bad at all, but that will be it. it will be good news for those who are not gonna spend money to upgrade it.

Nissan, on ther other hand, can still turbo-charged the VQ. didn't the rumored new Skyline will have a twin-turbo VQ 3.2?

the pics brandon posted look much better, the original concept drawing looks like they took a 96 or so acrura rl and straightened out the side panels and gave it some lower air dams and skirts, talk about unorginal crap
