The 2 upper right "look" as if it was him, or a relations to him, but I have no way of being sure, other then I have thousands of them from the Ritter family, and they are from TN where they were found in my home that was built in 1942. He was buried in Memphis if I looked up the correct Ritter, and was born on my birth day, but many year between us.

interesting, should try contacting his estate??

maybe his ex wifes realtor could provide a contact? bottom of the page.

also, it looks like its not that uncommon of a name, so maybe go to the county clerks office and look at the property record books for his parents name.

also, some realestate history here:

looks like they did own and live in nashville for some time.

also, a foundation:

Interesting. It does say that the house was razed after John Ritter moved out Not sure how the photos would be in the new rebuilt home. The OP says his house was built in 1942. I guess the OP will have to answer if he lives off Battery Lane and If the house was built in the late 80's?

I've never heard of Tex Ritter, or that John's father was a country artist.

could have lived somewhere else before 1968 as well. according to wiki, he moved to Nashville in 65.

also, real name may help in property records : Woodward Maurice Ritter

OP, have you tried contacting any local historical societies to see if you can glean any info on previous owners of the house? It's possible you have someon's "lost" family history and they'd love to have it back...

I would love to if I could.

And they were found in-between the wall and the roof on the top of the house when we first moved in. I looked at a few and posted in the past, but then they got "lost" and my son located them yesterday, and I been for several hours going through some of them, and with my sons help scanning them to give all here a glimpse of the past :D

Lots in the Bonnie and Clyde era and before in this box of things. I know when it comes to pics, a lot of gen below will give a rats ass to have them, I think they are better to get preserved if anything, but with the cancel culture, they will just end up disappearing if I do not just keep them myself :(

These are NOT Hollywood redo's, they are the legit real deal ;)

That's rather fascinating.

Maybe try to contact a high-end auction house? Get them authenticated?

As far as the age of my house, it has the original stuff in it from at least 1941, for when I had the new spout put in it, the sink is stamped under it 1941.

And, do not judge the mess right now, but its a time capsule and ALL made of metal, NO wood, including the anchors. I was told by a contractor I could get bank for all of this stuff, especially the sink, for its the "new" in thing :O
