Hi all,
I have PIII 700@933 and using golden orb as cooler.
My CPU temperature reading is between 48 and 49 degree celcius when I O/C.
But only 38-39 when running on default clock.
Is my CPU temperature normal for O/C CPU ? What is avarage temperature for O/C CPU you guys mostly have?

Thanks

That is a pretty big jump.. 700>933.. especially on an intel CPU.. I say you did good, that is a pretty good temp to be at with that much of an overclock.. you could always try a better cooler, but it should be fine at that temp

Thanks jfall,
I'm glad to hear that. I will try to find another H/S+fan to make my CPU cooler.

I addmitidly have a super chip but mine only goes to 37.5 celcius at 1.6 volts at 933. With retail heatsink and fan no less. At 1.65 it went up to 42 under load but i think that 48 is ok if a bit hihg. What voltage is that At????

Since your already runs at 38 at default clock i guess 48 is not too bad but the gorbs aren't teh greatest coolers in teh world. JUst keep that in mind.

I'm running at +0.05V(1.65V ??)
I knew that gorb is not the best fan in the world that's is why I'm looking for the better H/S fan now.
Do you think which one os better Alpha PAL6035 Ultra Kit with Delta 38cfm Fan
or
Alpha PAL6035 Ultra Kit (Includes fan and thermal compound) with a23.5cfm Sunon 60mm ?

thanks
