Is this system good enough?

I am planning on ordering the following parts tomorrow.

AMD 900MHz T-Bird (plan to overclock past 1GHz)
Asus A7V133
GlobalWin WBK38
512MB Crucial CAS2 PC 133 RAM

SUMA PLatinum GTS 2 SE 64 MB DDR 200core, 366mem
Asus 50X CD-ROM do not plan on watching DVD's on PC
Ricoh 12x10x32 CD-RW
Enlight 7237 300 Watt ATX Tower
Win 98 SE
3Com Home Cable/DSL router
cost: around 1600

is this going to be a lasting system, and what are your commments on the selections I made. Any responses would greatly be appreciated.

There is no such thing as a lasting system... eventually, you will need and upgrade...

But i think it looks quite nice, of course, i would recommend a MSI mobo instead and maybe another sound card, but i do like the other specs... 🙂

I like the Plextor 12x10x32 CD-RW better. Works like a charm. And I would look at an Antec 1030 case. B if you like a black case. It is really good!Other than that looks cool to me.
