Is this some kind of retarded black out restriction???

Every 15 seconds this giant black box shows up on my screen. I change the channel and flip it back and it goes away only to show up again in 20 seconds. It goes away when they cut to commercial breaks.

Is this some stupid fscking black out policy? I'm in Eastern Iowa using Direct TV.

 

Turn off the "Text mode" closed captioning on your TV.

Yeh, I know...but even on another TV in the house on a seperate receiver it was locked up as well.
