Is This Slow, Or What?

I love this forum, but has access become incredibly slow? I have a T-1 at work and a fast DSL at home, but I can get a good nap between page loads. Am I alone? Is this the price of server "upgrades" or am I just way off base?

Sorry, don't think it more a "Forum Issue" than one of hardware capability. Great site, been here a long time, and there are a lot of users, but it really seems to have come to a crawl in the past week or two. Not hammering AT, just wondering if my perception was off. I guess not.

I'm sorry, but my God we all joined in Oct of '99! Actually I joined before then but got wiped out by AT server failure. Incredible coincidence that the only people talking here are from 10/99!

Yes things have slowed down, I don't notice that much as i have everything turned off-icons, etc, etc-IMHO

When I say Forum Issues I wasnt referring to the cause of the problem, I meant that's where this thread should have been posted.

Hey it sure does I just signed up yesterday. Though the conspiracy theorist in me wonders whether the regular forum servers haven't been replaced with a TI-99/4A just to get people to pay for faster access....

Heh, I'm on an OC3 at work and it's slow as sh*t for me. AT is just so popular. You'll be hard pressed to find another Internet community that has 800 users on at most peak hours and 80,000 registered members total.
