Is this short power rack adequate?

I would like to get a power rack but most of them are atleast 84" in height, which is almost exactly how high our basement is. In looking for alternates, I stumbled upon this "sumo rack" which is only 66" high. I know I wont be able to do pullups (guess I could get one of those bars that you attach to door frame) but can anyone see this limiting in anyway? Anyone have suggestions for higher quality racks that are not full height? Will that whit bar at the bottom interfere with inverted rows?

A shorter rack would be fine - as you said, the only thing you'd really be missing is the ability to do pull-ups. However, a brief search turned up the following racks under 84" high:

* Rack 1 (82.5")
* Rack 2 (83")
* Rack 3 (82")
* Rack 4 (82")
* Rack 5 (a normal width version of the sumo rack you posted?)

One with a stack of weights and pulleys would be perfect.

That's what I'm getting (Sumo rack). But my ceiling is only ~78" high so I don't have much of a choice.

I'm in the same boat/basement you are, my ceilings are really low and I have radiator pipes all over the place. If I was looking for a rack for my basement, I'd go with the sumo one.

That white bar shouldn't be a problem when doing inverted rows. If it turns out to be one, you could just elevate your feet or switch to barbell rows.

Thats what I am leaning towards as well. Now I need a bench and some weights (looking at Craigslist for these)
