i am under-volting my 6600 AND overclocking it to 3ghz, AND its 100% stable!

is this how overclocking is supposed to go? or did i just get a good chip?

i doubt it is stable, but if you have run Orthos for 12-15 hrs, among other tests then it might be stable, whats youre specs look like?

I think it might be possible to do 3.0 with less than stock.

That would mean you have a decent chip... i haven't tried overclocking with lower than stock voltage...

But you also have to remember stock voltage depends on the chip... stock ranges from 1.2 to 1.35 (at least from what I've seen).

yes- i have ran orthos and prime 95 over night and they both pass.

as far as specs go-

6600
asus p5w-dh deluxe
crucial ballistix ddr2-1000

my stock voltage was 1.25v if i remember correctly, and now its running at 1.18v
