Seems clear by now that no one has ever heard the term "fell out" in a negative sense. I'm in the Eastern US and I've never heard it.

Tell the client that unless they can explain further, you don't see any need to reshoot at your expense. The fact that they won't even tell you why they object is extremely fishy to me. Could they be wanting that part reshot for another reason but are using this story to get you to eat the cost, instead of them?
