The tower definitely looks built for the purpose. My first instinct is that it's real. Those things have an amazing amount of power.

What keeps it from toppling backwards here?
Seems the center of gravity is hanging out back.

if you look at the front top of the track, it has some sort of structure sticking out. I thought the same thing until I noticed that.

Pretty cool stuff. I don't see the thing sticking out?

Ah, thank you.

It makes sense now.

Seems harder much harder to come down from any of the scenarios though. The tower, train or truck.

If you look at the bit KK circled, you'll see a place where the tracks wedge on the top. The operator must have a smooth and steady hand.

I wish there was a video of the procedure. I'd like to see how long it actually takes him to do this...and I'd like to see him come back down.

And yes...odds are, there aren't enough oo's in smooth to describe this...

Probably at some kind of equipment expo type of show.

I can't find anymore info on it other than the same set of pics at different sites. No actual information on it.

It's real. I was at the controls. Soon I'll be doing the flying concrete mixer. Basically, we've taken a concrete mixer and put fins on its hold, plus a more powerful motor. It spins fast enough to take flight and using some hydraulics we have it on to vector around its thrust the thing can fly around like a jet!
