Hey, i was surfing, looking for a good deal on an alienware laptop and i found this

http://www.internet-sellers.com/alienware.htm

I am not sure what the deal with them is, but if u read the FAQ, it says they are in bulgaria, and get stuff from the black market. I want to know how all the warranty stuff is still good if its purchased that way. If anyone has heard of this, or knows of anything wrong with this company, please let me know, cause this is an amazing deal. It does say you pay him through western union, which i have read prevents you from tracking who you have paid. They are a member of the secure shopping network, whatever that means. If anyone knows anything about this, please post! thanks!!

Without looking at the site, if they go out of their way to mention they got it illegally then you can rest assured that the company is going to laugh at you when you call them to get warranty service out of them. Or, maybe just politely tell you no and then laugh after you hang up. I'd laugh at you, but I am mean.

I suppose the only thing "wrong" with the company is that they are selling (maybe, or maybe they are just taking sucker's money) illegal products. I guess points go in their favor for being honest. About selling stolen goods.

I'd half think about buying something just to say "Yeah, this is my bulgarian black market thumb drive" But then, I would probablly get a knock on my door from someone in a federal agency.

If you have a credit card that can charge it, then order one and get the fastest possible shipping you can, and if it doesn't arrive promptly then cancel. Could try calling them too if they have a number.

Can I call to tell you about the Nigerian minister I'm working with to transfer a large block of money into the US? For a small up-front proof of your sincerity I can allow you to become a part of our endeavor.

That is the only complaint because the majority of people are smart enough not to fall for this scam!

Western Union, is the only payment they accept, lol. Now you know it is a scam. Would be as good as throwing your money in the toilet and flushing.

Digital, let's just pop your balloon of hope right now. There is no way on Earth Alienware is selling the systems for that little, even to 3rd parties; they make a tiddy profit selling to American consumers at full price. The systems are either stolen or don't exist.

ok, i emailed this "Secure SHopping Network" which claims to certify this site. This is what he said about them

www.Internet-Sellers.com, owner Dimitar Patev was examined on 09.25.2003.
since then we have not received any scam or similar notices based in this business, but our database contains more notices similar to your email requesting attention about Internet-Sellers.com dealers, again we have not found any irregularity, plus we have received good notices from Internet-Sellers.com as you can see in the shop certified page. Secure Shopping Network assures you can perform any sort of deal with Internet-Sellers.com. Secure Shopping Network goes through monthly tests in all their registered stores, it is very rare the sprouting of frauds. When this occurs, the following store will have his registers in cadastre permanently cancelled. Remember our money back guarantee will cover you in case of money loss if that should ever happen to you, in this case a copy of payment invoice stamped of credit card or wire money debit is required along with your order invoice.
Thank You,
Hans Stroemann

I have a funny feeling the company and this "Certification" site are owned by the same people in order ot make it seem more real. Do you think so too?

yeah, it sounds that way.

I'm kind of with d3n on this one...it would be funny to buy something cheap and be able to say "It's my Bulgarian black market ___", but since they don't have anything cheap...

Besides, you KNOW the stuff's stolen.

Stuff is stolen? You actually think that you would get something if you ordered? Look at the address for a laugh. He includes a US format zipcode which I don't think Bulgaria even uses.

I just want to clarify something. Black market = stolen. Period. Okay, maybe I am wrong, not quite "period". I guess they could have just "fallen off the back of a truck" or they were "found laying around in some warehouse".

[EDIT]LOL... Rat Turd.[/EDIT]

I wouldn't trust any site claiming to have a certification with a can of beans unless it is like EBay, MS, or VeriSign.
