Not sure why anyone think it's racist. All I see in the video is a guy who likes something and wrote/sing a song about it. What's wrong with that? Some people like steaks, some people like chickens. At least he has enough talent to write and sing about it. (Better than most "mainstream" artists.)
How many here is able to do that? Write and sing for something they like? I know I can't.

how does it set anyone back? so what if he likes fucking chicken...how is that in any way bad

Exactly. So what if he likes chicken? He's not "setting anyone back." The people who think he's "setting them back" are the people that are the problem. Personally, I see no difference between this and if his song was about liking to read the Wall Street Journal, but I think it would be a little too outrageous for someone to break car windows to read the WSJ. For some Church's, though, definitely.

I'm black and I find the video offensive. The kid is an ignorant fool and sets us back.

I didn't see a gun to his head forcing him to make the video. Blacks like fried chicken, it is a known fact. Get over yourself. You are the problem, you and the rest of the "I am offended" crowd.

Dude, whites love fried chicken just as much.
