Is that enough to run

Ati HD4850
4gb ram
amd x2 5000+ be @ 3.2ghz


I have been having frame rate problems. Not massive, but significant in higher end games. (crysis is a major one) The 4850 should be able to run it around 25-35 fps on 1280x1024. but it runs it at 10-25.


I was thinking of getting http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817139005 . The antec 430w is my current.

Would that help me?

Yep your PSU certainly is too small for the system. I'm surprised your not having more then just FPS issues. You need a good quality 500W or better PSU for your system.

One difference is that it only has 1 6+2 compared to the one you posted. However, 2 6+2 pins would only be needed if you were going for some SLI action of a 280.
