I am getting Antec 3700BQE which obviously have 350W SmartPower PSU. Here is what I am palnning on having for my "building" system:

Mobo: MSI Neo2 Plantium
Processor: 3000+ or 3200+
RAM: 1 GB (512x2 on dual, either musklin or cosiar (suggestions?))
VC: EVGA 6600GT
DVD: NEC 3500A (just one opticial drive which will be that one)
2 or 3 HD, havent decided on that. is SATA on raid worth, or better off having just one? it will be 80 gb. suggestion on that will be appericated.

thanks in advance

Im running the psu listed above with a 3400+ and 6800, 2 hds,1 gb ram and I get 11.92-11.98 on the 12V

The 350 is a quality PSU. I have 2 cases like that. No problem. And I get 12.02 on the 12v rail (using VOM)

It'll run your system fine. 420 watts is overkill. Thermaltake's power supplies are rather hit-and-miss, anyways.

your fine.

i would rather have your 350 antec than the 420 thermaltake that someone recommended...

Wow. Thanks for the quick reply... that helped me a ton.. by the way, ItmPls, what does SL stand for next to your "antec 350"
