Is this Possible?

Is there some type of box that allows you to stream HD content from a computer to a HDTVs HDMI port over a wireless network?

See page 26 of the July 2008 edition of Popular Science. They discuss a similar topic. I could not find the article on their website but it was titled "No-Cable Television". They listed a couple of products that are coming soon that allow HD streaming over wireless. They are short range because of the bandwidth needed to carry the 1080p content.

I use my Xbox360 to do this. I use component on the 360, because it doesn't have HDMI. I haven't tried the PS3 yet, but perhaps someone else has.

My Directv HD DVR will also do this.

I have with the ps3. works fine, especially with tversity (i think thats what its called, been a while.)

Yes, I also use tversity. It's the only software that I've found that will convert mkv files, so the 360 will play them.
