Is this person lying?

I think he confused the speed the ram runs at and the multiplier he had set for the duron.

Actually some of the Asus Athlon boards will do 133mhz FSB, but only if you set the FSB by the dip switchs, they max out at about at about 115 at the most, if you set the FSB by the soft menu.

BTW if you set your RAM at the +33 speed that means the RAM is running at 133+133/3, which is 177mhz. Because that +33 or -33 option is only when the board is set to a 100mhz FSB.

They actually follow a formula, which give you 3 choices, of either setting your RAM at the FSB, or at FSB-FSB/3 (which just so happens to be 66mhz, when the FSB is 100mhz), or at FSB+FSB/3 (which just so happens to be 133mhz, when the FSB is 100mhz).

So if you are running your board at say 112mhz FSB, & you select +33 for your RAM, you'll really be adding 112/3, which is 37. So you'l end up with your RAM running at 149mhz, not 145mhz.
